Villa "Isola Rossa" is located exactly over a small beach which can be directly accessed from the garden through a stair. Quiet and peaceful, yet only fifteen minutes from the small town of Teulada where you can find all you need in terms of shops, foods, pharmacy etc. The villa has easy access to several amenities, including many excellent restaurants for eating out, beautiful sandy beaches at a distance ranging between 7 to 20 km where you can find opportunities for several water sports (windsurf, motor boat etc), the harbour for renting boats etc.
The villa benefits from its own private garden, perfect for the children. The garden with stunning sea views is accessed from the living room, furnished with tables and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. Beds can be arranged in various configurations, making it possible to increase the number of double or single beds. In total there are 10 beds in 4 bedrooms on two floors making the villa ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

The Villa has two floors the ground floor has 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms, spacious living room fully furnished with a fire place and the kitchen. The second floor is a mansarda with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The two master rooms in the two floors have very scenic sea view.

The garden has typical mediterranean vegetation and has parking space for 2 cars, a BBQ and has several verandas, one near the BBQ and the kitchen facing the garden and one in the front of the house facing the sea and the Isola Rossa, which changes colour depending on the light and gives the name to the Villa. Both offer shade and make it pleasant to eat outside. The garden is completely surrounded by a fence making it ideal for children. There is a outdoor shower very useful when you come back from the beach.

For groups of 4 or 6 persons only the ground floor is rented, and the prices refers to the ground floor only. Groups of 8 will also use the upper floor. Couples shall enquire for prices directly to the owner.
The rental fee includes: home cleaning at the beginning of the rental period, linen and towels and electricity.
Final cleaning is not included (Fee : 70 euros directly to the owner).
In case of guests leaving and arriving on the same day, the guests leaving the apartment are kindly request to check out at 10 am and the guest arriving are kindly request to check in at 2 pm. This is to allow the cleaning of the apartment.What is published is what you pay... no hidden charges.

If you cancel the booking the total sum will be refunded if cancelation is made at least 1 month before, 50% of the deposit if cancelation is made between 1 month and 1 week before the period you booked, 0% if cancelation is made with a notice shorter than 1 week. Credit cards are not accepted.

The Sardinia region
Sardinia is characterized by a Mediterranean climate, with hot, dry summers and very mild winters, which makes it a very pleasant turistic destination all the year round. The island has a lot to offer to all sort of tourists and is certainly much more than a destination for the sea lovers. You can enjoy its peculiar history and visit one or more of the 9.000 nuraghe from the nuragic civilization (the Barumini's Nuraghe is a UNESCO world heritage site) or the Tombe dei Giganti (the Tombs of the Giants) or the Phoenician archeological sites and the subsequent Roman cities.
You can enjoy wild nature of the Gennargentu Mts or try to spot a Sardinian deer in Mt. Arcosu or the wild horses at the Giara di Gesturi. Or you can spot the birds in one of the several lagoons of the island (including the pink flamingos).
The rich culinary tradition and wine production makes Sardinia an attractive destination for food lovers.
Finally you can enjoy one of the many folkloristic happenings scattered allover the year to be projected in a journey across time

The Teulada, Sardinia area
The small town of Teulada is located in the South-West part of Sardinia, in the beautiful Costa del Sud (Southern Coast). It is well known for the very scenic beaches and the clear sea water. The landscape is still wild: long white beaches are separated by high rocks over the sea (Capo Malfatano, Capo Spartivento, Capo Teulada, the southest point of Sardinia). If you are more into mountain mood, Teulada also offers opportunities to visit the forest of Gutturu Mannu or the Mountain of Punta Sebera.
Among the beaches to visit from Cagliari there is Chia (ca. 15 km from the villa), Tuerredda (ca. 10 km from the Villa), Piscinnì (ca. 5 km from the villa), Portu Tramatzu (ca. 5 km from the villa going towards Teulada). Going toward North there are other beautiful beaches like Porto Pino or the Isle of Sant'Antioco and San Pietro and the other beaches and turistic attraction of the Sulcis.
Historical sites in the nearby includes the several Nuraghe in the territory of Teulada and Roman ruins of Nora ans Sant'Antioco etc.

You can get to Cagliari from almost every major city in Italy flying by Meridiana, Alitalia, Airone, or Ryan Air and from some of the major cities in Europe like London, Paris, Barcelona, Brussels, Munich, Cologne etc.
Once at the airport you can get to the villa ONLY by renting a car (it is possible to rent a car at the airport from all major companies or local ones).
If you wish to travel by boat transport is available there are ferries which connect Cagliari with Arbatax, Livorno, Naples, Genoa, Palermo and Tunis (via Trapani).
From Cagliari you need to take the National Road 195 (SS 195) direction PulaTeulada. At the 41st km you turn left towards Chia/Porto Teulada. You will stay on the road for exactly 22 km enjoying one of the most scenic road of Sardinia. After 22km you find on your left side a small dusty road. The villa is located less than 100 mt on that road.

What a marvelous place! We had a lovely time at your house, enjoyng the beautiful views, the luxuory of 'our own beach ' but above all, the very pleasant atmosphere and calmeth of the house. We won't forget this place and hopefully back at home when we go to sleep, we will still hear the sound of the rolling waves when we close our eyes. For sure our 18 month daughter will miss it.
