We (Myself my husband and son) enjoyed our week in ths cottage. It is in a quiet village near a small town with several shops cafes and market. It is an easy walk taking about 20 to 30 minutes by road or footpath It is small and compact with kitchen and sitting room all togetner but had every thing we needed (No TV or diswasher). It is set in a big gardern close to the owners larger house but no one was there so it was very quiet. The water fall and pools in the garden were lovely to paddle in when it had just rained but dried out later in the week. Lovely to hear the water flowing and a lovely place to come back to after a day out. We barbequed several nights and sat out til late in the evening watching the clear sky full of stars. A car is needed to access any visits you may want to do though there are some pretty walks near by (if it is not too hot). I found it easy to contact the owner and to book , which we did as alast minute booking. |
