About the home

A stylish apartment close to Siena ancient city walls, still surrounded by olive groves and fields; ideal for visitors looking for a quite lodge. The farmhouse is part of a unique Liberty village built by Garibaldi's doctor in 1880. Local shops are at walking distance. In the surrounding area you will find horse riding facilities and country tracks for cycling and walking.

The three bedroom apartment has been recently renovated and fitted with wooden floors, stone bathrooms, typical countryside furnisher re-arranged with a modern touch. The apartment includes a scenic double height dining room with a stone staircase, fresco ceiling paints, a bedroom in the old sweetcorn room with a 360 degree view.

The apartment has been refurbished with high quality materials and fit out. All items, bed linens, bathroom linens, table wear, kitchen wear are selected with care for our guests. Despite its large size it is a very romantic lodge, ideal for honeymoons.

Conditions

• Check in time from 4.00 pm to 8.00 pm, check out time by 10.00 am. For arrival later than 8.00 pm please inform us. Also we are grateful to our guests if they inform us of the precise time they intend to be at the villa so we can make sure there is someone waiting; if information is not provided we assume arrivals to be at 5.00 pm.

• At the time of booking we request a contact detail when travelling. (Either a mobile number, either an email address that can be checked when travelling)

• Price including cleaning service once a week with linen change. If required more often please book it in advance; we will inform you about the price.

• Refundable breakages deposit of Eur 300 required on arrival to be refunded on departure.

• A not refundable 20% of rental fee is due to secure booking. The balance is due and breakage deposit are due 4 weeks before arrival.

• For the quality of finishes and fit out we tend to avoid pets. However we love them ourselves. If you really want to have them with you and you are absolutely sure they will not make any damage, please enquiry.

• We recommend avoiding noise and respect for your neighbours. Please avoid parties with external guesses unless previously agreed.

• Please enquiry for cost for long term lets.

• By car:
On the Motorway Tangenziale Siena Ovest exit at "Siena Ovest". Take the SS73 toward Massa Marittima. After approx 1 mile you will reach "Costafabbri". After the bus stop, turn on the left toward "Ville di Corsano", then, just after 50 m, take the first on the left. It is a narrow dead end street on a bend. Do not miss it! The house is at the end of the street.

• Airports:
Pisa Airport 170 Km - From London Ryanair, Easyjet, British Airways, From Paris Ryanair, AirFrance, Easyjet, from Berlin Easyjet. Connected to Siena by train and by bus.
Florence Airport 90 Km - From London Meridiana, From Paris Airfrance. Connected to Siena by bus and by train, but you need to get to Florence city centre first.

• By train:
Siena station is on a secondary railway network. Closest main stations: Pisa, Florence, Empoli, Chiusi, Grosseto. Link to the timetable: http://www.ferroviedellostato.it/. Notice that if you want to take a bus from the station you need to change at "La Lizza" / "Piazza Gramsci" bus stop in the city centre.

• By bus:
Number 30, 31 and 33 from "Piazza Gramsci" (City Centre). Get off at "Costafabbri", then you need to walk approx 200 m: On the opposite side of the bus stop take the road going up toward "Ville di Corsano", then just after 50 m, take the first on the left on the bend. The house is at the end of the street.
