The Paphos District
Cyprus is a truly enjoyable holiday island that boasts a myriad of charms all year round. It boasts 340 days of sunshine, friendly English speaking Cypriots, excellent food and wine and 10,000 years of history. Cyprus has one of the lowest crime rates in Europe and you drive on the left hand side of the road.
Cyprus is a modern country that effortlessly marries European culture with indelible links to the past. The rich story of the island can be traced back over 10,000 years. Like many Mediterranean islands, Cyprus has long been seen as an important strategic base with various civilisations having swept through over the years from the Greeks to the Romans, the Ottoman Turks to the British.
As a destination Cyprus is not just about its very attractive and impressively clean beaches, it also offers, hiking and cycling in the hills, skiing in the mountains, golf and fishing around the coast, water-parks and every water-sport you would expect.
It has charming old stone hilltop villages and vine-blessed slopes, olive trees, citrus groves with nearby towns and villages where you can sample the seriously underrated Cypriot wine. Then there is the sweep of Roman and Greek remnants that scatter the island and sit dramatically amongst its coast and mountains.
Secret Valley Resort
The local towns and villages have the Mediterranean flavour to go with the excellent food and wines. Explore the heritage of Aphrodite or The Tombs of the Kings, try the town of Paphos with its historic harbour, bars and restaurants. Alternatively, savour the excellent food and wines in the quieter tavernas of nearby Kouklia. Visit Pissouri for the weekly Cyprus Night.
Try the golf at Secret Valley, Aphrodite Hills, the refurbished Minthis Hills or the amazing new Elea Golf Resort designed by Sir Nick Faldo opened by Nick himself in October 2010.
Take a trip to the Troodos mountains and visit a local winery. Take the kids go karting, crazy golf or relax at Aphrodite Water Park.

"Thoughtfully Stocked Villa"
Villa Kecah, in the Secret Valley complex, is attractive, well furnished and thoughtfully stocked with just about everything you could think of for a family to enjoy a holiday in the sun. There is even a box of toys and inflatables provided. The pool isn't heated but, given the weather out there, we didn't find that an issue. The only minus for us was the mattress was a little too hard for our liking. It is about 7 km from Kouklia (the nearest village with shops and restaurants) so an appetite for walking - a pastime that baffles the locals - or a car - is essential. It takes around an hour to walk there or it's a 10 Euro cab fare. Kouklia is lovely - the ruins of Old Paphos and the Sanctuary of Aphrodite are well worth a visit as are the little tavernas and bars throughout. You can stock up on groceries here too.

"Relaxing place to stay"
Villa Kecah is a really nice place to stay and relax. The whole place is clean and well equipped. It's sited on a large residential development and so local facilities are none existent. That said, it's no problem if you have a hire car as Paphos and local villages are close by. Overall, a nice and relaxing place to stay.

"HOT SUN BEAUTIFUL VILLA JUST PERFECT"
We had a relaxing and stress free stay at villa Kecah with great service and help from the owner, did not see villa managers while we were out there but had no need because everything was fine. Clean inside and out with great views of the coast and surrounding area. The villa is well stocked with all that you need with lots of maps and information on Cyprus and there is a selection of inflatables for the kids while playing in the pool which is kept very clean. Very friendly and helpful neighbours giving us excellent info on restaurants and places to visit. Positioned in a quiet and peaceful area so a car is a must for getting around but local shops and main supermarkets not far away. We had a great time and would have no hesitation in coming back to Villa Kecah. * * * *

"Lovely Villa - Relaxing Holiday"
We had a relaxing two wks in this lovely, well-equipped and well-appointed villa, a good array of informative books & leaflets, just about covered all tastes and interests! Villa owners extremely nice; friendly and helpful neighbours either side (residents). Not impressed with the Property Managers, however, regrettably. Found them to be brusque and unhelpful, not at all interested in the minor problems we encountered, and they were responsible for the "Welcome Pack" which, quite frankly, was utterly abysmal, for the money they charged. These Prop Mgrs are, in our opinion, not the right people for the job and are not doing the overall holiday experience justice for the villa owners - the neighbours were far more helpful! No reflection on the villa itself, as it was really, really lovely, and we had a super holiday. We would definitely stay here again, taking into account the minor reservations stated above.

"Relax and enjoy and you be back again."
We stayed at Villa Kecah with two friends in September 2012. It was spacious, well equipped and well maintained. It is ideal for couples and families. We have spent many holidays in Cyprus and loved the villa’s central location set in a quiet residential area with sea views. The pool was a welcome relief on hot days and set in a well arranged garden with areas of sun and shade all day long. The covered patio area was brilliant for breakfast, barbeques or just sitting out in the evening enjoying the sunset with a glass of wine. Kouklia is only a couple of miles away with a wide choice of restaurants. We especially liked Gabriel’s on Cyprus night. It also had a very interesting museum and archaeological site well worth a visit. It was convenient for Paphos and the airport only a 15 minute drive away, trips to old Limassol town, the dams; maybe catch a play at Pissouri or Kourion amphitheatres. Aphrodite’s Rock and Pissouri Bay was great for swimming and snorkelling. Car hire is essential as there are no shops within walking distance. We will definitely be making a return visit.

"Villa Kecah was a wonderful base for which to explore the delights of Cyprus"
Vilka Kecah is very well equipped and ideally situated for a family holiday in Cyprus. We went in August and the pool was lovely and warm and inviting in the hot weather. There are some quaint villages close by with friendly restaurants and the Aphrodite resort is only 5 minutes away where you can have a morning costa and Internet access. We would definitely recommend a stay at the villa.

"We had a wonderful holiday at Villa Kecah."
This was our furst trip to Cyprus and it wont be our last. Villa Kecah is in a beautiful, quiet location but not too far from lovely towns and villages for good meals and local hospitality. The villa was well equiped and had all the home comforts but in a wonderful climate with a fantastic pool. The photos actually dont do it justice, its beautiful. We hired a car and this is a must as there are no shops or restaurants within walking distance but the town of Kouklia is only 5 minutes away and we would recommend this lovely place to visitors. Paphos is only 15 minutes away by car. We went with our family and everyone had a wonderful time. We wanted a relaxing holiday and it was all that we had hoped for and more. We have never had a villa holiday before and we are completely sold, no more hotels for us. It was so great that we hope to make a return visit. We would all highly recommend Villa Kecah and Cyprus as a holiday destination.

"Villa Kecah was the perfect location for a truely fantastic relaxing holiday."
Villa Kecah is situated just 15 mins or so from the airport and unlike many other holiday villa we have stayed was equipped with everything that we needed to make sure our holiday was the ideal break we dreamed it would be Everything worked! the villa itself. the garden and the poolwere are all spotlessly clean and lovingly maintained. The villa itself is in a beautiful location and the start of many perfect evenings was to relax on the patio and watch the sun set into the sea. Truely a beautiful sight. The Villa has its own Bar B Q and we had some wonderful relaxing/romantic evenings just sat out eating and drinking beside the lovely swimming pool. The pool itself was perfect and just right for a cooling dip in between sunbathing. The residents in the neighbouring houses that we met whilst out walking were all really friendly and welcoming. Although the villa itself is located in a lovely quiet spot near the Secret Valley golf club with lots of lovely walks When we wanted something a bit more lively there are were lots of really good restautrants just a few mins drive away. The Villa Kecah has all the details of lovely places to go to eat in the surrounding villages with directions of how to get there plus lots of information for sight seeing. We had a few trips into Pathos town which is about 15 mins away, from there we were tempted to take a boat crusie but sadly ran out of time this holiday. Overall we found eating and drinking out to be no more expensive than back home and shopping at the supermarkets all very reasonable prices with some amazing deals at the meat and dehli counters. The holiday was a fantastic much looked forward to break for us and the Villa Kecah was the perfect backdrop for this lovely holiday. We will definately be going back again.

"Great villa in beautiful surroundings."
I have recently stayed at villa Kecah & fully enjoyed my time at the villa. The villa is situated in a well kept colouerful garden with beauitful palm trees surrounding it's own private swimming pool. The villa itself is very spacious but still has a warm homely feel & has everything you may need from a champagne bucket to a electronic safe to store your valuables. Great restaurants are a just a short drive away, the maps provided are a great help & found the information folder a real benefit. I highly recommend the Retreat Spa at Aphrodite Hills, if you fancy a pamper day. Over all I can't fault this accommodation & found the location not a problem, but hiring a car is a must, to access restaurants, suppermarkets, golf clubs, horse ridding & Paphos itself is just a short drive away.
