About the home

Villa Carina is perfect for a relaxing holiday in this beautiful part of Sardinia, with stunning views over the islands of Madalena. Situated in a lovely private residential area and only a short walk to sheltered beaches which are very safe for children. Many other beaches just a short drive away.
Behind the main beach of Conca Verde is a 4* hotel. The restaurant is excellent and non residents are welcome in the bar. During the summer evenings, they often have live music by the pool. There is also a health spa. The Beach also has a Snack Bar serving just about anything from small snacks to larger meals.

The nearest shops and 2/3 restaurants can be found in the little town of Porto Pozzo close by for your essential shopping.

The towns of Santa Teresa and Palau are just a short 10/15 minute drive away in either direction. Here you can find restaurants, bars, shops and the harbours of both towns offer trips around the islands of Maddalena.
**Please enquire if an organised Boat trip would be of interest, the property has access to an exclusive day/days use of a Motor Cruiser with Skipper or alternativey as Charter hire**

Facilities

Further details indoors:
- There is a large double bedroom (en-suite), a twin bedded room that can be made to a double and the large lounge has a double and single sofa/divans.
- There is a travel cot available - but please provide own linen.
- Both bedrooms and lounge have air conditioning which are also heaters for those cooler evenings out of season.
- A large fully fitted kitchen/diner with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, cooker and hob.

Further details outdoors:
- There is a washing machine and outside sink under the stairs.
- A large covered terrace/living area with lounge furniture and large table and chairs for al fresco eating.
- The roof terrace also has table and chairs for those relaxed evenings taking in the peace and scenery, or sunbathing.
- Bbq also provided.
- On enquiry and with proof of ICC, Boat hire is also available. Alternatively day trips can also be booked - please enquire

Conditions

- Security Deposit of £150 is required with all bookings. This is returned once final cleaning has taken place and usually within 4 weeks of completion of holiday.
- Linen and Towels are provided but an extra charge is made for cleaning and linen change for holidays of more than 7 days.
-An extra charge may also be made for heating if required during the cooler months. Details on request.

The Sardinia region

Santa Teresa Gallura could be considered at first sight a young village as its foundation goes back to the first years of XIX century, in obedience to King Vittorio Emanuele I° wishes; nevertheless we can't forget that farthest point of northern Sardinia was inhabited by very ancient people since prehistory.
The first settlement in this area dates back to the nuragic period (4000 B.C). A trace of those can be seen nearby some archaeological sites, very close to the build up area.
Sardinia has a very warm climate. Very low rainfall during the summer months and a consistant temperature from May through to September.

The Santa Teresa di Gallura / Conca Verde area

- Take a guided boat trip around the islands of Maddalena including lunch to experience the crystal clear waters and beautiful beaches. Enquire on booking.
- Explore the many unusual rock formations made from granite around the Gallura region.
- Head inland to visit Tempio, an Historic town and find some of the vineyards on the way, to taste the excellent wines produced in this area.

“Charming villa on lovely location” We enjoyed staying in this villa, situated near a small local beach. The garden is lovely with flowers in blossom, private and it is safe for small children to play in. From the patio you can have a meal with seaview or relax in comfortable chairs. From the roof terrace you have even better view, but the furnitures there could be better, and an umbrella for the sun would be nice. In the area there are numerous of lovely beaches to drive to. If you like watersport, like wind surfing or kiting, this is a perfect place, but you can also find calmer sea and more quiter beaches. The villa was perfect for our family with small children and the Conca Verde area is safe and quiet.

“Perfect villa in a panoramic location - idyllic” We have been coming to Italy for 14 years this year and this is one of the best houses we have stayed in. The house itself was large enough for 6 of us and was very well stocked. We spent most of our time outside on the lovely veranda or in the evenings up on the solarium which has beautiful views to the water and islands. The beach was within walking distance and very safe for children again with beautiful views. Thanks for making out holiday a wonderful one and we really hope to return next year. Ailish, David and the kids.

Abbiamo passato 2 settimane in Sardegna, vicino Santa Teresa di
Gallura, all'interno di un parco chiamato "conca verde" usufruendo di
una bellissima Villa privata.
Oltre ad essere confortevole all'interno con 2 camere da letto e 2
bagni, si presenta con un meraviglioso giardino ed un pergolato
sfruttabile dalla colazione alla cena. Il tutto contornato da una
vista splendida che permette di vedere e respirare il bellissimo mare
della Sardegna. Infine la sua vicinanza al mare e l'accesso semi
privato al mare (100 mt.), con una caletta molto accogliente, rendono
Villa Carina una vacanza incantevole.
Pertanto Vi consiglio di non perdere questa occasione ed il mio voto
al luogo e all'ambiente è 9!
