The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur region

Provence is known for its Cheery trees in full blossom (April\May), fields of Lavender (June/July/Aug), ripening grapes in it's Vineyards (Aug/Sept), fields of wheat blowing in the Mistral wind, stunning scenery, beautiful blue sky's silhouetting medieval hilltop villages hiding haute cuisine restaurants. The Grande Luberon Natiional Park doesn't disappoint in the slightest.
