Thatched Cottage Annex was completed in June 2012. It provides contemporary tasteful accommodation, with a twist of luxury. It is ideally situated for those who love the outdoors being just 2 miles from the South Downs Way and its stunning countryside and 20 minutes from the coast and beaches. It is surrounded by many picturesque villages such as Petworth with its abundance of antique shops, Arundel with it's Castle and fine restaurants, and Midhurst which boasts Cowdray Park polo.

This beautiful annex is also ideal for easy access to Goodwood for The Revival and Festival of Speed and also the horse racing, being just 12.5 miles away. And for those car enthusiasts we can supply electric gated parking and garaging.

The annex is tastefully decorated with a lovely new bathroom with underfloor heating, a large bedroom with oak flooring, a comfortable seating area with leather chairs leading to a new, fully equipped kitchen. You can also enjoy the delights of al fresco dining in your own private garden and of course cook on your own BBQ. Internet access and Sky television are also provided and bikes may be available on request.

There are numerous nearby country pubs to try as well as easy access to many miles of walking and cycle paths as well as golf courses which we can recommend being enthusiastic golfers ourselves.

PLEASE NOTE: We now take credit cards and debit cards.

Please note: We also have 'Elderflower' our newly completed Shepherds Hut. We can therefore provide accommodation for four persons. (subject to availability) The Shepherds hut combines traditional with contemporary and includes a luxury ensuite! The Shepherds Hut is also listed on Holiday Lettings.

"Perfect for some much needed R&R"

This accommodation was perfect for our weekend getaway. A clean, scented, warm and welcoming room. The photos do it justice so we knew what we were expecting, but still pleasantly surprised when we arrived. A real home-from-home and in a good location - we followed a circular country walk route and visited Arundel and the local beach.

At first, I was surprised that the property was close to the busy main road and was concerned about road noise (as we live in a quiet location), but once inside this did not pose a problem. It is very secure and private, behind electric wooden gates.

"Perfect retreat in Sussex"

This holiday cottage went well beyond my expectations. It's been newly converted and the finish and attention to detail is immaculate, it has a very luxurious feel but with plenty of character. The owners, Sue and Tim, are so friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble for them and they have lots of knowledge of the local area, which is very beautiful. I had quite a long stay there and I thoroughly recommend it.
