The Villa is on the edge of the resort located in very peaceful surroundings with a magnificent view over the National Pine Forest and the background noise of the Atlantic Ocean and gets the sun on the terrace all day until late in the evening.

Only a few minutes walk away is the Golf Club House, Tennis Club and shops and only a two minute drive to the beach and the 5 star Marriott Hotel.

The villa is fully equipped to a very high standard with everything you could possibly need provided even down to an I-POD player.

Praia Del Rey enjoys an enviable and peaceful location near the picturesque medieval town of Obidos.

Obidos is considered to be one of the jewels of Portugal's national heritage. Its outstanding architectural beauty is reflected as much in the winding narrow streets and elegant whitewashed buildings with balconies decorated with flowers as in the ancient churches and the magnificent Moorish castle whose high protective walls encircle the town.

In the same direction (north) is the town of Caldas Da Rainha which has a daily fruit and vegetable market and even a bullfighting ring.

South of the resort is Peniche which is a working fishing town with lots of inexpensive fish restaurants serving fish as it comes out of the sea. From Paniche you can take a boat trip to the Belenga Islands that have a day nature reserve, a day out on a nice day.

There are many small picturesque villages within easy driving as well as the well known larger towns of Sintra, Cascais and not forgetting the Capital Lisbon.

How to get there

The resort is located less than 1 hours drive from Lisbon International Airport on the coast between the Medieval Town of Obidos and ancient fishing Town of Peniche.

There are four bedrooms with single beds, two of the bedrooms have private balconies with chairs and tables, 3 bathrooms two of which are en-suite, lounge, reading room, dining room and kitchen. There are outside tables and chairs and sunlongers.

The villa is fully equipped to a very high standard and includes; hair-dryers in every bedroom, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and dryer, dish washer, linen and towels (not beach towels), books and games.

There is a full entertainment system including, TV, CD, I-POD docking station and DVD with a large selection of movies on DVD.

Outside there is a swimming pool, extensive terraced area with outside dining table and chairs, covered BBQ area with dining table, gated drive and a nice garden.

Praia Del Rey Golf & Country Club nestles within a lush estate abundant in pine woods and undulating sand dunes, flanked on one side by a glorious 2 mile long sandy beach washed by the breathtaking Atlantic rollers.
