About the home

The property is located in a picturesque and peaceful setting, with fabulous views over rolling hills and the snow-peaked Sibillini Mountains. The house has been fully and lovingly restored keeping it's original charm and character, with a two fully equipped modern kitchens, rustic surroundings with antique furniture and seating for max. of 20 people. Villa pomegranate is an ideal holiday location, for weekly summer holidays and short weekends breaks.

Three bedrooms on the ground floor, two twin bedrooms, one with 2 wrought iron beds & en suite.
There is also a large master double bedroom with en suite bath & shower room.

Bedrooms on the 1st floor
3 rustic double bedrooms with wrought irons beds, 1 double bedroom with four poster bed. 1 small doublr bedroom. Each bedroom has an en suite bathroom, which includes, shower, toilet, bidet and sink as standard.

All bedrooms have a bedside table and lamp, light switches and ceiling fan switches next to the bed, chair and wardrobe as standard. 3 Hairdryers are supplied.

The ground floor has 1 fully fitted kitchen, 1 large dining table which seating 16, two living rooms with TV + Sat. TV, Stereo/hi-fi, two large coner large sofas with seating for up 14 people.

Complimentary Wi-fi internet access.

1st floor, there is an additional kitchen, with a fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, hob and TV with DVD. There is also a large panoramic terrace with many chairs, benches and tables.

Further details outdoors:
The entire grounds are at the guests disposal with full and private use of the swimming pool, where there are 12 sun loungers, 8 steamer chairs, 2 benches and a table, a large covered patio area and a agazebo.

The entire property of 28 acres, can be explored by the guests and we just ask guests to respect the areas and leave them as they were found. The house is surrounded by a forestation project start in 2001 and over 4000 trees have been planted to date. We have also planted over 2 ha of olives trees.

The property, grounds and pool area have automatic outside lighting that can be adjusted to the time of year, with all eating areas being amply illuminated. There is also an automatic watering system so you do not get distrubed by us watering plants.

The pool area is mainted and cleaned on a daily basis or as required, such as after a thunder storm,
plus there is an outdoor solar shower next to the pool. The pool has a thermal cover to maintain the temperature during the cooler months. Summer pool temperature is between 28-30c.

Automated gates
To ensure guests privacy throughout their stay, the property is accessed via a private road fitted with electronic automated gates. Guests will be supplied access keys on arrival.

All towels and linen are included and changed weekly. Towels can not be used outside of the house.
We advise all guests to bring there own pool / beach towels, however we can also provide beach towels
and they can be paid for locally.

Cleaning of the house is carried out on change over days, or once a week, should guests book for a longer period. Guests must vacant all rooms on the change over day by latest 10.30 am and allow custodial owners the opportunity to vigorously clean the entire property in a limited space of time.

Property is mantained and managed by the custodial owners who live nearby, should guests required any assistance, i.e: make a phone call, send a fax or email. We can book a restaurant and tell you the most interesting places for you to visit.

Getting married in Italy - Our wedding services
We offer a professional tailor made wedding service, including the civil ceremony held at the villa,
catering requirements to suit guests budget, holding a small or larger wedding party for approx. 20-50 guests.

The Marche / Abruzzo / Marche region

Le Marche is a region in which history, culture and agriculture have undoubtedly created a unique and quite extraordinary world that is worth discovering, with plenty to offer and much to explore. It has 180 km of coastline, 2 national parks, 500 piazzas, 1000 important monuments , 34 archeological sites and it is steeped in history, castles and historical pageants staged in the old town centres, yet only recently discovered by travellers.

In addition to many coastal resorts, sandy beaches and rocky coves, it has the natural beauty of unspoilt rolling countryside, with many charming hilltop villages, lakes and mountains, rich in historical and artistic heritage that has been so well preserved. In this untouched and undiscovered region of Italy your experience will leave you wanting to return.

The local food and wine is certainly another attraction. Le Marche is known as the larder of Italy and, with 12 DOC wines on offer and top quality local produce, you will find a wide variety of local dishes to choose from.

In this region, each change in the landscape brings another culinary tradition and, as one gradually moves away from the coast towards the mountains, the smell of fresh Adriatic fish is replaced by truffles, meats, cheeses and many more typical inland flavours.

The Ponzano di Fermo / Capparuccia area

Located in between two local villages of Capparuccia and Grottazzolina guests can walk to a choice of restuaratns and pizzerias, which are only 15mins on foot. Many festivals and fates are held throughout the year , particularly in the summer months and in all the surrounding villages.

We are also just 20 mins from the Adriatic coast, with the fine and long sandy beaches of Porto San Giorgio & Pedaso. 35 mins San Benedetto, known as The Palm Riviera, and 40 mins from the stunning Conero blue flag sandy & pebble beaches. From rocky coves to long stretches of sandy coastline, you will find excellent fish restaurants and interesting ports and towns to visit. A championship Golf course is 60 kms away.

Dear Daniel, Had a fabulous holiday in beautiful typical Italian accommodation with all mod cons, surrounded by stunning scenery. Enjoyed wining and dining on the various patio areas around the farmhouse, under pergolas covered in flowers and vines (well they soon will be!), swimming in the lovely pool and sunbathing on the terrace. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. There were 12 of us plus a baby and it was a wonderful experience. We would all highly recommend the pomegranate for a beautiful relaxed holiday and a base to explore the surrounding countryside and Adriatic coastline. Our one week stay was too short and we will definitely be back to enjoy this Italian experience. Will keep in touch with you and if you ever plan to visit Scotland let us know and you can visit. We loved the house and location. Views were great, and the pool was good. The peace and quiet was lovely, for us coming from the congested south of England. What worked
particularly well about the layout of the house and grounds was the number of different living areas, both indoor and outdoor, allowing everyone space when they wanted it.
We tried all of the restaurants recommended in your notes in the house, and were pleased with them all. Highlight for the adults was undoubtedly l Piceni in Ortezanno – worth the trek for a “grown ups“ night out. Other restaurants we liked were some on the seafront in Porto San Giorgio, but don’t remember the names. Favourite outing for the kids was the big water park to the South. It was good having you both nearby, particularly for advice on local activities, and as I mentioned in the previous message having your kids around worked very well for our group. Hi Daniel, Candida, Elettra and Achille, We thought we would drop you an e-mail to let you know how very much we enjoyed our stay this summer - we were part of the 'Paula' party! The villa itself is beautiful, with well appointed rooms and well equipped facilities. The pool is a great size and certainly needed the shaded area in the very hot weather - we are just not used to such heat! The views from all aspects of the villa were superb - what better way to enjoy outdoor living and eating than looking out over rolling Italian countryside with the mountains in the far distance. Your sustainable 'green' objectives in the development of the villa and surrounding land are commendable.
