Stunning, newly-renovated and fully-equipped studio with balcony and breathtaking panoramic views of the sea, mountains, Chateau Hill and rooftops of Old Nice. Located in a former palace just a few steps from the famous Cours Saleya, beach and Promenade des Anglais, in the heart of Nice's Old Town
The apartment building is located in a side street, just a few metres from Old Nice's Main Square and the Cours Saleya, which is home to the famous daily flower and local produce market. All the main restaurants and bars are also situated here. The wonderful listed building is a former palace dating from the 18th Century and was originally built to house Nice's aristocracy. It is truly majestic with a magnificent entrance hall concealed behind the main front door and wide sweeping stairways.
The apartment gets the sun for most of the day with outstanding panoramic views of the evening sunset over the bay and rooftops of Old Nice from both the main room and the kitchen. There is also an unobstructed view of Chateau Hill from a separate window next to the dining area. Located on the top floor (6th floor - no lift) it is therefore very quiet whilst benefiting from a superb central location.
Would suit a romantic break for a couple or a couple with one or two small children.

The apartment has very recently been renovated to a high standard. It includes a double bed, large single mezzanine bed, travel cot, dining table and chairs, television, storage cupboard and hanging space, chest of drawers, sofa, balcony furniture, CD/Radio player and central heating. There is a separate fully-fitted kitched with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, hob and oven and a shower room with brand new, full-size power shower.

The beach, famous Cours Saleya (the colourful and vibrant daily flower and local produce market) and bustling Old Town are right on the doorstep. All the main restaurants and bars are also situated in the Cours Saleya. The apartment is on the top floor (6th floor - no lift) and is therefore very quiet whilst benefiting from a central location.

The apartment is a perfect base for exploring the Cote D'Azur with Monaco/Monte Carlo, Cannes and Antibes a mere fifteen-minute train journey. Italy is just over an hour by train, at 18 miles from Nice.
Spend a wonderful evening in one of the many restaurants or bars in the Cours Saleya (just a few steps from the apartment) or simply stay in and dine on the balcony whilst enjoying the stunning views of the sea, church, rooftops of Old Nice and distant mountains.
The Nice / Vieux Nice area
Some places of interest to visit are the Opera House, Matisse Museum, the Cours Saleya which is home to the colourful daily flower and local produce market (antiquities on Mondays), Nice National Theatre and the Port. There are many delightful churches, including Sainte Rita which is directly opposite the apartment.
The Nice Festival takes place in February, the Monaco Grand Prix and Cannes Film Festival in May, with the Jazz Festival and Bastille Day in July.

Fly to Nice Airport. The apartment is just 6 km from the airport, being a ten-minute taxi journey or short bus ride using the airport bus.

Local taxis are always readily available at both the airport and railway station.
