The Gite is provided with your own vegetable garden (which we look after - although don't not hold back if you would rather! This offers fresh seasonal produce for your table during your stay
The farm provides a spectacular and peaceful location from which to explore this beautiful part of France.
Our guests are free to take advantage of the tranquility and privacy that La Singlarie offers. We will be delighted to show you the private walks through our woods that are home to a fantastic range of animals and plant life (although you will need to get up early to spot a family of wild boar!).
Our woods are well known locally for the famous cèpes, a wild mushroom delicacy to be found in August and September, wild strawberries in June; chestnuts in the autumn and wild asparagus in the spring.
We produce organic beef and lamb that is available to our guests as is other produce when in season, for example: vegetables, fruits, truly free range eggs. If you have children we are sure they will enjoy some of our more “domestic” animals and we will be pleased to make introductions to Gorgon the Kune Kune pig and his “harem”, Vannille and Bamboo the donkeys who think they are cows, Fizz the farm cat and of course the chickens and ducks.
