The Ski Chalet (formerly Chez Helene) is a lovely wooden chalet located in a pretty mountain village, on the sunny side of the Bozel valley, opposite the 3 Valleys ski resort of La Tania (Courchevel). Facing due South the chalet is warm and cosy in winter. With 6 bedrooms & 8 double beds, the chalet offers guests the perfect base from which to enjoy their winter skiing & spring/summer/autumn Alpine activity holidays. Winter guests have the opportunity to ski in both the Worlds largest & third largest linked ski domains, with the ski lifts in Le Praz (for Courchevel/3 Vallees) & Champagny en Vanoise (for La Plagne/Paradiski), all just a short 15-20 mins drive from the chalet, Restaurants/bars/ski hire & food shops are just a 6 mins drive away in Bozel.

Detailed description of Chalet.... GROUND FLOOR - Entry into the chalet is via a manual push button coded door lock – meaning no keys are required for access & allows guests to arrive at any time of the day or night.

On entering the chalet, on the left a self contained ground floor studio with king sized bed, en-suite shower, wash basin & W.C. On the right a new 16 person Steam/Sauna room and a separate 2 person Insignia steam shower with WC & wash basin, both with LED mood lights, bluetooth speakers & fragrance diffusers.

FIRST FLOOR - steps up to the open plan living/dining/kitchen area, with separate pantry/utility room and W.C. At the top of the stairs there is an area for coats, shoes, ski clothes, boots, helmets etc, and a separate W.C. The cosy lounge area with 3 sofas has seating for 10-12. The extended glass dining table will seat 12 guests cosily. The kitchen is fully equipped with an instant heat 3 zone induction hob, large convection oven & grill, microwave, George Foreman grill, a table top electric hot granite stone Pierrade/Raclette grill, food processor and filter and expresso coffee machine with steamer. There is a full-sized dishwasher and tablets are provided.

Behind the kitchen enter a large pantry, with washing machine (liquid provided) and a tumble dryer . The living room has a fantastic programmable pellet wood burner (real flame), excellent at heating the entire 1st floor living area & also all of the bedrooms on the top floor above.

TOP FLOOR - with 5 bedrooms containing 7 double beds (sleeps up to 14). There is also a family bath/shower room with separate shower cubicle & in the same room a bath with shower riser & screen, 2 wash basins, and a separate W.C.

The bedrooms on this floor have electric wall heaters, but which are rarely used as the pellet wood burner is so efficient at heating the upstairs bedrooms.

Bedroom 2 - double bed mattress up on a mezzanine floor (accessed via a fixed stepped ladder) & door to balcony.

Bedroom 3 - has a double bed at floor level, and a double bed above on a mezzanine floor, accessed by a fixed stepped ladder. Door to the balcony.

Bedroom 4 - has a double bed at floor level, and a double bed above on a mezzanine floor, accessed by a fixed stepped ladder.

Bedroom 5 - has a double bed mattress up on a mezzanine floor (accessed via a fixed stepped ladder). Note this room has no window.

Bedroom 6 - Ground floor studio with king size bed and en-suite shower & WC.

In total in the chalet there are 8 double beds, 4 showers (including an amazing 2 person steam shower), 4 wash basins, 4 W.C.'s, and an amazing 12 person Steam/Sauna room.

There is plentiful free parking right outside the chalet.

The chalet comes complete with all bed linen & towels, plus bathroom essentials including shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, bubble bath, hand wash, toilet paper, kitchen paper towels, cleaning sprays and materials.

In the lounge, there is a large 42" full HD TV with English Sky Freeview channels, and via a streaming stick Netflix, You Tube and catch up TV. There is also a DVD player & library of 50+ DVD films (mostly English language). Please feel free to bring your own streaming stick if you have Amazon Prime, Now TV or want French language films. The cupboard below the TV/DVD contains games such as Rummikub, Articulate, Cluedo, Scrabble, playing cards & UNO.

Free Wi-Fi and internet is provided and available throughout the chalet.

Sledges are available for guest use.

The Chalet faces due South, with fantastic views across the valley to the Three Valleys, and the ski station of La Tania (Courchevel) and the start of the Meribel Valley. On one side of the Chalet there is a 40m2 Sun Terrace.

On the balcony, you will find 3 comfortable Ikea ‘Poang’ lounging chairs for you to enjoy the stunning Mountain views across the valley towards La Tania.

PLEASE NOTE...for bookings for more than one week (8+ nights) there is an additional fixed weekly accommodation fee/charge of £750 (at £150/night) to be added to the price quoted, as the pricing model only includes the fixed weekly fee/charge for the first 7 nights.

How do damage deposits work?

If David (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
