About the home

Casa Azzurra provides the comforts of a 'home' while on holiday. Enjoy being part of the local culture of the Sicilian way of life - food and wine take a large part of that!. The countryside and beaches are within easy driving or bus travel time. It is only 30 minutes to the sandy beaches of Marina Modica. There are wineries and food producers to visit. The well equiped kitchen is ideal to try out your cooking skills.
Local restaurants and pizzerias and an icecream seller are all close by for those that do not want to cook.
Set within a quiet neighbourhood it is just a walk away to the centre of Modica Bassa, the chocolate capital of Sicily.

Modica is served by the following airports: Trapani, Palermo and Catania.
All have coach and rail links to Modica. Ryanair and easyjet among others fly regularlly.
The Virtue Ferry line runs daily from Malta to Pozzallo ( a 1.5 hour crossing) which is only 25 minutes by car or bus. Hertz carhire are at the terminal of the port.
