About this location
The Dalmatia region
Country's slogan says it all: "Croatia - Mediterranean as it once was...". Croatia is an adventure that even Robinson Crusoe would have loved to enjoy. this beautiful unspoilt Mediterranean destination offers an abundance of coastal and island towns with rich cultural heritage set in crystal clean wathers of Adriatic.
With over 1700 km of unspoilt coastline and 1185 islands (only 66 inhabited), Croatia lands itself to variety of holidays from enjoying beauty and tranquility of charming resorts.
The waters of Adriatic are clean, clear and inviting transculant blue - the sea was described by the late Jacques Cousteau as "one of the cleanest seas on earth" and it's beaches and marinas awarded a record number of eco Blue Flags.
The city of Trogir, Marina,Mastrinka, Seget Donji, Seget Vranjica, Vinište and the island of Ciovo make up the Trogir Riviera. This area is rich with Mediterranean vegetation, olive groves and vineyards, numerous islands and bays, sand and pebble beaches .
Except for high quality accommodation in hotels, boarding houses, apartments, camps and homemade delicacies, especially fish specialties, it also offers a wide variety of sport and recreation. The coast of the Trogir Riviera is separated with smaller bays, capes, and islands with lush Mediterranean vegetation, still preserved in its original form.
This is favorable for those who are attracted to cruising along the Adriatic coast. The climate is favorable with mild winters and warm summers which are cooled by the pleasant wind – the maestral.
