This is a sun trap and takes the sun for most of the day. A small stream and waterfall runs beside this terrace.Sea views to the front of the terrace. The front terrace is accessed by both the sitting room and the family room and leads onto the lawned area with panoramic views over Killary Harbour. This takes the sun from approximately midday to sun set. Table and chairs are on this terrace with more stored away. Cushions are stored in the house. To the side of the house is a purpose built car park which takes 4/5 cars and leads to a gated drive behind the house which would provide more parking if needed. There is a sweeping drive down to the road , the gradient is quite severe and there are steps down to the road through the garden for easy access.
Further details
Stoneacre is set high on an elevated site to give maximum views from the house. The site is set part way up a mountain and the site was broken out of the rock , because of this there are steep drops both from the land behind the house and from the front terrace onto the drive. We would therefore suggest that it would be unsuitable for children who would not recognise the dangers .
