About the home

This luxury villa offers peace and tranquillity. It has 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms (2 en suite) and 1 outside shower for the overflow pool. All bedrooms have fans and air conditioning. The main bedroom, 2 bathrooms , kitchen and sitting room are located on the upper floor and cooled by a gentle breeze in the summer months. There are balconies with views of the sea and the mountains and a view of an ancient monastery. The sitting room has an open fireplace for the winter months, fans for the summer months, and satelite TV and Hi-Fi systems. The ground floor bedrooms have access to the same views and a covered patio. There is central heating for the winter months. The villa is within easy reach of good restaurants and local shops, within 10 minutes drive of the nearest supermarket and 20 minutes drive from Kyrenia, its harbour and shops.
The coast road, giving access to many beaches, hotels and sporting facilities, is less than 2 km from the villa. There are wonderful walks in the mountains behind.

The garden is well-stocked with roses, hibiscus and bougainvillea, and several fruit trees - orange, lemon, olive, almond, avocado, apricot, pomegranate, nectarine and bananas.
The overflow swimming pool (4.5m x 8.5m) enjoys beautiful views of the garden, the mountains and the sea.
There is garden and underwater pool lighting for the evening ambiance.
The property is enclosed by a stone perimeter wall.

The Kyrenia region

Northern Cyprus is blessed with seemingly endless sunshine and enjoys one of the healthiest climates in the world. The average annual temperature is about 19°C/66°F. The summers are hot with July and August averaging over 30°C/90°F. The coldest months are January and February with an average temperature of 10°C/50°F.
Cyprus became divided into two fully autonomous states in 1974. The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus is also known as Kibris, a Turkish word which probably relates to the island's long history of copper mining.
There is a treasure chest of mediaeval castles, abbeys, amphitheatre and monuments. The most important sites are Salamis, Bellapais Abbey, the ruined Byzantine castles of St. Hilarion, Buffavento and Kantara, Kyrenia castle and museum, and Soli and Vouni.

“Marvellous!” Villa Miranda is the most beautiful place to spend a holiday. The house is very welcoming, spacious and well-appointed. It is in a private and tranquil setting and has fantastic views of the mountains and the sea. There is a peaceful atmosphere, you can relax on the balconies, swim in the pool and admire the bougainvillea and surrounding gardens. In the village, there are several local shops and a post office. I loved my time there and would go back again!
