About the home

Very spacious, comfortable property with new private heated pool and large hot tub/spa. Sun terraces on three levels, with sun beds, sun shades etc.. Games room with pool, snooker, and darts. Table tennis also available. Fantastic views. Beautiful location. Only 10 minutes walk to beach and village. Villa recently refurbished to a high standard. Five double bedrooms, consisting of four large double bedrooms all en suite, plus a further full sized twin bedded room (bed 5). Extra double sofa bed also available in sitting room. Three of the bedrooms have direct access to the lower sun deck. The villa has a spacious comfortable lounge and dining room, and separate fully equipped, kitchen and utility rooms. Air conditioning to four main bedrooms and lounge and dining areas. Satellite TV, Wi Fi, log fire etc.

Rental fee includes cost of preparing the villa, and provision of fresh laundry and towels (one set).
Rentor is responsible for all power used (air con etc) and for the cost of laundry and cleaning at the end of their stay.

Conditions

A deposit of Euro40 per person (Min euro300) is required to cover the cost of final cleaning and laundry required following your visit, the cost of electricity used and the cost of any damage or loss incurred. This is payable in cash upon arrival. Electric meter readings will be taken at the start and finish of your visit. You will be refunded the balance of your deposit when you leave .

A deposit equal to 20% of the rental cost is required to secure your reservation. The balance plus security deposit is due on arrival, and must be paid in cash. If you wish to pay by cheque, Paypal, Credit card or bank transfer this must be completed at least eight weeks prior to planned arrival date. When you arrive at the resort, our local agent will meet you and take you to the property and explain how everything works.
They will also be available should you have any problems or queries during your stay.

Please note that a maid service is available at extra cost .This can be daily or say every three days.
Joining instructions and full information about the villa will be sent to you upon receipt of your deposit

The Costa Tropical region

La Herradura is in Andalusia, in the southern part of Spain. It lies to the east of Malaga, in an area famous for its natural beauty. This area is far less developed than that found to the west of Malaga. This stretch of coast is called the Costa Tropical. Once famous for its sugar cane, it is still a centre for the production of tropical fruits and vegetables. It boasts one of the best all year climates in the world. The area has been inhabited for thousands of years, and has been occupied and ruled by the Phoenicians, Romans, and Moors, all of whom have left their influence on the architecture, language, food and customs.

Granada, is home to the Alhambra Palace, built as a "heaven on earth" summer palace, by the Moors when they ruled this part of Spain 600 years ago. Also about an hour away, are the Sierra Nevada mountains and ski resorts, and the Alpujarra Mountains, famous for their air dried hams, wine and figs.

The La Herradura / Punta de la Mona area

La Herradura (horseshoe bay) is a beautiful Spanish village, build around a sheltered bay and beach shaded by numerous palm trees. It has a beach front which is about 2 km long, which is home to many restaurants and cafes. In addition to the many beaches in the area, you can charter a yacht in the Marina del Est, hire sailing dingies on the beach at La Herradura, play golf at several good courses in the area (about 25 min), play tennis or go horse riding locally, or join one of the many scuba diving centres in the area. Our bay is part of a maritime nature reserve, famous for the clarity of its water and many points of interest., and it 's a magnet for scuba divers.

Punta del a Mona is the eastern peninsular which forms part of the horseshoe bay. On its eastern side lies the Marina del Est, to the west (the main view from Chalet Valderrama) are spectacular views of the bay and back along the coast to Malaga, and wonderful sunsets! Punta del a Mona is an exclusive location favoured by both Spanish and International owners, who are drawn by its scenery, views and the perfect climate. It is home to many £multi million luxury villas.

Just a brief note to thank you for all the information you provided and to say what a wonderful time we had at the villa. It really is a beautiful villa in a fantastic location.

Our group comprised my wife and myself along with our 4 children (aged 14 - 21) and 2 of their friends. The villa had something to offer for all of us, given the layout of the rooms themselves with all of their en-suite facilities, the various terraces, the pool and the hot tub - and all of this in such close proximity to the beach with its numerous shops and restaurants!

Once again, many thanks for your help and for allowing us to share that wonderful facility.
