About the home
This is a very comfortable cottage,with spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean from the comfort of one's armchair. It is a 3 bedroom cottage, with sitting room, kitchen and family bathroom.
Two of the bedrooms have a double bed. The larger room has 1 set of bunk beds and 2 single beds. Extra bed linen available if required.
The Sitting room has comfortable couches, TV, DVD player, a range fire and a beautiful view.
The Kitchen has a comfortable dinning area with all Mod Cons. There is also a George Foreman and Deep fat fryer available.
There is 1 bathroom in the cottage with a standard hand basin, W.C and electric shower.
Turf are included.
Babysitter available on request.

Muckross is a popular location for tourists due to its spectacular scenery, rock climbing, surfing beach and safe family bathing beach. The view from the cottage is Trá Bhán, it is a two minute walk from the cottage. Trá Lathar is known for it's surfing waves. It is also 2 minutes from the cottage.
Muckross Head is a 3 minute walk from the cottage.

Kilcar is a small Gaeltacht Village in South West Donegal. It is 10 Km from the popular sea fishing port of Killybegs and 6.37 Km from Slieve League the higgest Sea cliff in Europe. The cottage is 3Km from Kilcar. Kilcar is engulfed by nature's finest beauty and heart stopping scenery. Muckross where Our cottage is located has been called one of the most beautiful sites in Ireland or indeed the world. Muckross is a popular location for tourists due to its spectacular scenery, rock climbing and it's 2 beautiful beaches, a surfing beach and safe family bathing beach. Croagh Muckross is an enjoyable climb, where one can see spectacular scenery and 5 counties when they reach the top. Muckross Head is a 3 minute walk from the cottage. It is one of Irelands best kept secrets where one can enjoy exploring the caves, the beautiful rocks and crashing waves not to mention the man-made wall on the way. Muckross Crag is a popular location for rock climbing with about 50 climbs available of all grades. Beautiful quality food is available nearby in the - Blue Haven Hotel, www.bluehaven.ie - Kitty Kelly's, www.kittykellys.com - The clock tower, www.theclocktower.ie Kilcar annually holds a local festival the first weekend in August where galore music and activities can be enjoyed by all. Follow the signposts to killybeags from Donegal Town.When you get to Killybeags follow the signposts to Kilcar.On the way to Kilcar you will see the Blue Haven hotel on your right after a few hundred yards you will see a coast road on your left with a sign post marking it.Take the left and drive about 3 km and you will see a signpost for Muckross Head and a beach. At the crossroads take a left carry on straight. Go past the road for the beach and the cottage is the first left.

The house was great in a beautiful place would recommend it to anyone! The owners are lovely people couldnt do enough for us. The locals are brilliant had great craic in the pub hopefully get back again in the summer thanks again |
