The Paphos District
Today Paphos, with a population of about 47,300, is a popular sea and a fast developing tourist resort, home to an attractive fishing harbour. It is divided into two major quarters: Ktima, on the sea terrace, is the main residential district, and Kato Pafos, by the sea, is built around the medieval port and contains most of the luxury hotels and the entertainment infrastructure of the city. Apostolou Pavlou Avenue (St. Paul's Ave.), the busiest road in Paphos, connects the two quarters of the city. It begins near the city centre at Kennedy Sq. and ends outside the Medieval Fort at the harbor. Queens Gardens is situated close to the harbour on this road at the junction of tomb of the kings road as shown on the map.
Kato Paphos / Queens Gardens area
Queens Gardens is in the area of Kato Paphos within walking distance of the seafront, the beach, the Old Town, new shopping areas and Harbour. You will find lots of different bars and restaurants nearby, offering a wide range of food from a number of countries and to suit different pockets and tastes. There are a number of interesting historic sites in and around Paphos such as the famous underground Tombs of the Kings and the ancient mosaics. Queens Gardens is a short drive to the Aphrodite Water Park and this is an excellent day out for families of all ages. A short drive away also is Aphrodite's Rock on a beautiful coastline with clear turquoise waters and as you drive from Paphos towards it why not visit the Sanctuary of Aphrodite at Kouklia Village where you will find many excellent tavernas at which you can linger over traditional Cypriot food and enjoy the hospitality that comes with it. Attractions such as the donkey sanctuary, the reptile park and local wineries are also nearby.

Welcome pack will be in place on arrival. Reservations are confirmed with a cheque for 25% of total booking cost. Non payment of balance will cancel booking and deposit will be forfeited. Balance of payment and £100 breakages deposit required 1 month prior to travel. Breakages deposit will be returned 14 days after departure subject to no breakages and inventory complete. Guests to comply with all communal rules and regulations.
