A lovely townhouse located in the quiet Universal Gardens area which is only a 15-20 minute walk from the picturesque old harbour area of Paphos where there are shops, beaches, restaurants and bars. In addition there is a general store and small friendly taverna within a five minute walk if you prefer a quieter evenig.
The property is furnished to a high standard throughout and has air conditioning in both bedrooms and the living area. There is a communal swimming pool with sunloungers for relaxation and a patio area equipped with table and chairs for al fresco dining. The property is ideal for families as the surrounding area provides a wealth of interesting acitivities and amenities including watersports, a waterpark, sightseeing tours and a wildlife park.

The Paphos District
Paphos is situated in the western peninsular of Cyprus. It is ideal for both summer and winter holidays because it enjoys on average 340 days of sunshine each year. It provides a vast range of activities and amenities for all the family.
For nature lovers the scenery in the area is fabulous. You can take a jeep safari to the Akamas National Park to see the beach where the protected Greenback turtles lay their eggs, visit the Adonis falls or explore the Troodos mountains with their spectacular views and pretty mountain villages.
For golf enthusiasts there are three excellent golf courses within 18km of Paphos.
As Paphos is a UNESCO World Heritage site there are numerous heritage sites, museums and monestries to visit. These include the Roman mosaics at the harbour and the Tombs of the Kings that date back to the 4th century BC.
Kato Paphos / Universal Gardens area
Kato Paphos is within walking distance of the house. It has a picturesque harbour dominated by an Old Fort and has a long promenade lined with shops and tavernas. There is a a vast number of restaurants to choose from and a good selection of bars and clubs. The Old Town is a short bus ride from the harbour and has a large market, more shops and some smaller tavernas.
Boat trips, fishing trips and mini cruises leave from the harbour daily.
Paphos has two blue flag sandy beaches and watersports including paragliding, windsurfing and jetski rental are widely available. The sandy beach at Coral Bay is the best beach in the area. There is also a local scuba diving centre for the more adventurous.
For the younger members of the family there is the Aphrodite's waterpark, a mini-golf course and a karting circuit located within a ten minute drive of the property while the Paphos Bird and Animal Park is about a twenty minute drive away.
Taxis are always available and there are plenty of car hire companies if you want to explore further afield. In addition many excursions can be booked locally, these include horse riding in the Troodos Mountains, quad biking and even trips to explore Egypt. How to get there
