The Paphos region
Feel the romance in the air in the land where Aphrodite, goddess of love and beauty, once roamed. Swim in the sea by the rocks known as Petra tou Romiou where she was believed to have risen from the waves, make a pilgrimage to her sanctuary at Kouklia, or visit the grotto near Polis where she was supposed to have bathed. The Pafos (Paphos) region is the perfect place to celebrate a wedding or go for your honeymoon.
Pafos (Paphos) town, with its pleasant harbour and medieval fort, combines a cosmopolitan holiday resort, spectacular countryside and historical sites. The region offers the possibility of combining sea and mountains as well as getting a taste of culture with its many archaeological sites.
Admire the view at Maa-Paleokastro, the site on a peninsula near Coral Bay, where the Mycenaean Greeks first landed in Cyprus in the Bronze Age. Explore inland by going on a wine tour of the villages, stopping off at Chrysorrogiatissa monastery with its fine icons where you can get a taste of the locally produced vintage wine from its own winery. Or indulge in one of the many activities available, from playing a round of golf at a premier golf resort, indulging in a sea sport, such as swimming, diving or sailing, or going for the thrill of a water park or karting centre.
The Akamas peninsula is an area of natural wilderness with dramatic coastlines and sandy coves. Visit one of the last Mediterranean nesting grounds for the green and loggerhead turtles on the sandy beaches of Lara. Or walk along one of the many scenic nature trails spotting rare endemic plants that grow there, or watching migrating birds fly by overhead. Or take a boat trip along the spectacular coastline of what forms part of Aphrodite's playground.
No matter when you visit Paphos you will no doubt be intrigued by its air of holiday charm. This is combined with history, classical style buildings, and its olden day elegance. These classical buildings lead you to the upper part of Paphos town which in turn leads to the shopping area.
The lower part of Paphos town which is known as Kato Paphos has a life all of its very own. Kato Paphos is located close to the sea and is built around the harbour. Here you will find fish tavernas, hotels, souvenir shops, and some important archaeological sites.
The archaeological area in Kato Paphos was listed in the World Heritage List in 1980 and this site includes a vast number of areas and monuments from prehistoric times that include the Middle Age. Most of the remains date back to the Roman period and the mosaic floors in the four Roman villas are a treasure. Some other important monuments that are well worth a visit include the Odeon, the Agora, and the fort of Saranta Kolones.
Kato Paphos is close to all the amenities that Paphos has to offer. It is just a 15 minute drive to the airport. it has an abundance of Bars, Restaurants, water sports, Scuba-diving, water park, Go-Karting and much much more.
A walk around the harbour is also a great way to spend the afternoon and in Kato Paphos with its glorious weather you will no doubt want to stop in one of the many harbour side restaurants and bars for a cooling drink.
Kato Paphos is the life and soul of Paphos and no matter what you are looking for in your holiday you will find it here.

The position of the apartment in the complex is possibly the best which itself is well equipped and a very relaxing comfortable holiday apartment From airport catch bus612 to Annabelle Hotel costing 1.5 E and walk up to apartment Bakery and supermarkets all within a few minutes walking distance Great seafood restaurant is The Ocean Basket in the Avanti complex

"Perfect for family holiday with a one year old"
This was a perfect set up for us with a one year old, the property was clean and spacious and being on the ground floor by the pool was an added bonus. The cooking facilities and utilities were good which meant that we could eat when we wanted (or when our son wanted) and we did this most days on the patio. We hired a car which meant we could stock up at the excellent supermarket (10 min drive) and visit beaches etc. Car hire was very reasonable and I would recommend it with a small child although there are buses and the nearest beach and shops are only 10 mins walk. There is a local supermarket (recently opened) a 5 minute walk away which sells everything you would need in an emergency and also a kiosk selling cigarettes, alcohol, sweets newspapers and a few groceries very close by. This was our first holiday abroad with our son and it was an excellent experience mainly due to the accommodation.

"Beautiful place, ideal for families"
The apartment is very clean, reasonable priced and it is the best location on the complex, near the children's pool and the main pool. The apartment is a 15 minute walk to the Harbour and the main restaurants, which has plenty to offer, the prices are for all pockets.

"The best holiday we've ever had"
We booked this apartment for our family summer holiday last year. Everything about it was perfect, from ease of booking with the helpful owners to location and comfort of the apartment.
The apartment is perfectly located on a lovely quiet complex. It is spotlessly clean with all your home comforts, fully equipped for either a self catering holiday or for eating out the choice is yours. It is about 10 minutes from all the bars, shops, beaches and restaurants in Paphos, which offers something for everyone.
We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who wants a holiday where you have it all. A lovely clean apartment complex with swimming pool, loads of nearby attractions and guaranteed sunshine, what more could you ask for from a holiday.

"A really great place to stay in Paphos"
We brought our daughter and her family (six of us in total) out for a holiday in Cyprus and stayed in this apartment. The place was really great ... clean and tidy and spacious and in very good condition compared to some other holiday apartments we've stayed in and the cost was very reasonable
The kids really enjoyed the pool, which was kept clean along with the poolside area.
We had a minor issue on arrival being unable to get any english TV but a quick call to the really nice, helpful owners of the apartment and all was explained and sorted immediately.
Without doubt we'll be back to Paphos and when we do this will be our first choice of apartment to stay in.

Lovely clean apartment right by the pool with nice relaxing atmosphere. About a 5 mon walk into paphos (a few different ways to go) as the bars and restaurants are fab. The marina is a def place to go as well. We loved the waterfun park and go karting. Paphos has soo much to offer that's why we have stayed here 4 times and everytime we find another new place to go! Carol bay is a good place to visit for the day too.
