The Paphos District
Paphos enjoys a superb Mediterranean climate all year round. Its landscape is characterized by plains, sandy beaches and mountains. Surrounded by vineyards, banana plantation and the Mediterranean Sea, Paphos abounds with wonderful scenery riddled with stunning ancient ruins.
Whether you’re tempted by water sports, golf, hiking, and wild life or wine tasting in local villages, the area has something for all. During the winter months, Paphos is quieter. From December to early March, there is snow on the Troodos Mountains so you can ski.
Kato Paphos / Regina Gardens area
The Complex is just a 10 minute drive or bus ride away from the Harbour and the town itself. Shops, banks, restaurants and evening entertainment are all within a short distance. Kato Paphos is situated by the harbour, lined with fishing boats, restaurants, with important archaeological sites and the picturesque Byzantine Castle. Kato Paphos is a prime shopping area with excellent jewellery shops.
For sea and sun, just 15 minutes away going north, are the beautiful sandy beaches of Coral Bay. A 15 minute walk towards Paphos takes you to the Tombs of the Kings, a must see for visitors. Although being tombs of high officials rather than kings, the area was named Tombs of the Kings for the magnificence of the tombs displaying interesting structures and amazing stonework.
There is a good selection from tavernas to up market restaurants along the Tombs of the Kings road and even more going to Kato Pafos, catering Italian, Chinese, Indian and Mexican food only to name a few.
How to get there
Fly to Paphos – Satis is 15kms from the airport, a 20 minutes drive away. Larnaca airport is another alternative, leaving an approximate 90 minutes drive to Paphos. Flights prices may vary so book in advance for the best deal! Flights are available from www.olympicholidays.com, www.skyscanner.net, www.travelsupermarket.com, www.flightline.co.uk to name a few.
There are no buses going from the airport but there are local taxis available. Fares should be around 35-50 Euros depending on time of day. Bring some Euros if you fancy starting shopping at the airport and/or pay for your airport transfer. You can also pick up a rental car from the airport and save you on transport costs during your stay. Car hire available from www.comparecarhire.co.uk.
For guests who do not wish to rent a car, transfers from/to the airport can be arranged. Within Paphos, there is a reliable bus service which operates at regular intervals during the day and early evening. The service covers most areas of Paphos and a single ticket costs around 1.30 Euros. Taxis are also a good alternative. However, should you wish to venture a little further afield, hiring a car is an excellent way to explore the island.

A guest information folder is available for general information. There are DVDs, books, board games to keep you entertain as well as a selection of tourist information leaflets and maps.
Your stay also includes a welcome pack which consists of milk, orange juice, water, bread, butter, tea and coffee. Here's a little treat after a long journey!
Our English-speaking representative will come to greet you the next day of your arrival.
Cleaning supplies such as washing up & hand wash liquids, cloths, washing powder, etc, are available.
Conditions
Flights and transfers from/to the airport are not included in the rental and must be booked separately.
The first and last day of your holidays are classed as changeover days which are flexible subject to availability. You may check in from 15h00 onwards. You must check out by noon.
25% of rental price is required within 5 days of enquiry date, to be sent with the booking form and rental agreement to secure your booking. Balance payable in full 8 weeks prior to departure date. Non payment of the balance will cancel your booking and the deposit will be forfeited. Once the final payment has been cleared, we will provide some pre arrival information and directions if required.
