Eco-shelter is made by stone and wood, materials found in nature. We use old knowledge and new technology specific to this area to build huts and there is no negative impact left on the environment after building it. It is situated on the rocks, surrounded by pine trees,25 m from the sea.

Accommodation for 2 people in deep shade. Everything is furnished with recycled equipment. There is own dry toilet and simple shower (no classic shower).

Romantic promenade along the coast and beautiful beaches will take you to the main building where contents are available (restaurant, phone charger, fridge, water,Internet, food).

We provide in our own restaurant, food made by local people, organic vegetables, fruits, fresh fish etc.

The boat trips are organized around the island, visiting caves, snorkeling, diving in transparent, clean sea and enjoying in the magical surroundings all around your presence.

Biševo is the furthest inhabited island on the Adriatic sea.

There is no running water here.Collection of rainwater in cisterns and warehouses is the way how we provide water.

Drinking water you must bring with you or you can buy from us. Given these circumstances, we spend water consciously.

It is essential to be careful with fire as well because it is very dry place and lot of aromatic herbs are growing all over the island.

You should bring a torch with you (we use wind generators here) and there is no street lights.

If you are coming by car, the best solution is to park your car somewhere in Split and come without car to Vis (anyway, on Bisevo there is no traffic,so you can not use car here).

It is good to take a good trekking shoes (the island is a bit rough for walking),hat (the sun is pretty strong) and a mosquito repellent.

There is no cash machine here,so bring cash money. There is no shops, provide yourself with everything you need for a pleasant holiday far away from civilization.

This non government association is settled to keep this area clean, nature and safe from devastation of civilization. We appreciate conscious people around, who can participate in building a better world, supporting an idea of social entrepreneurship. This year we are planning to take some actions like building an amphitheater where people can meet and have some pleasant time together...eco patrol who looks and cleans the island, prevents from devastation, clear the old paths...the island is full of aromatic herbs,so we do trekking around the island and collect herbs...

Island of Vis

The Island Bisevo is worldwide known for its famous Blue Cave. There are 25 different beautiful caves and ravines.

Nature is preserved, due to many years of isolation and no new constructions. We are amongst 15 inhabitants that live on this Island, remarkable size of beautiful 6 km2.

Majority people do fishing, vineyards and agriculture.

"If you want an island paradise, cut off from the world...this is it!"

We spent 4 nights on Bisevo Island, near Vis in June. We had a wonderful time there, chiefly because of our brilliant experience staying with Davor and the others. For those looking to really get away… More
