About the home

We are delighted to be able to offer you our beautiful 2 bedroomed villa in a small and peaceful luxury private complex in Hisaronu. The villa is newly built and located on Orka's Award Winning complex situated around the wonderful 650m pool and amongst well maintained grounds and garden areas. There is also a smaller Children's Pool, Poolside Bar and Snack Bar and also an authentic Turkish Bath (Hamam).

The villa is equipped and furnished to a very high standard and has a fitted kitchen with all modern domestic appliances to make life easy. It is air-conditioned throughout and mosquito screens have been added to all doors and windows for your extra comfort. Clean bedlinen and towels are provided and changed regularly. The living room area is equipped with Satellite TV (with some English chanels) and has DVD/CD player attached. There are also a small selection of DVDs, Games and books should you wish to use them. * A new iPhone/iPod Docking station & charger will also be added at the start of the 2012 season*

There are two bedrooms upstairs (1 Double & 1 Twin) that have very comfortable beds and plenty of storage. Both have there own en-suite facilities and private balconies with table and chairs and enjoy great views. Downstairs boasts a spacious living area for you to relax in and has a sofa bed to sleep another person, if required. The living area has 2 sets of screened patio doors that lead directly onto a large (partially shaded) terraced area and look over nicely landscaped gardens onto the pool. The sunny terraced area facing the pool has 2 private sunbeds and also a large stone Built Turkish style barbeque. The adjoining terraced area has a large Luxury 6 seat table and chairs and a cool and relaxing shaded corner with an outdoor sofa and chairs. This is a great area to just relax in and you can read, sunbathe and enjoy a family meal with the beautiful mountains in the background.

Orka Village is a small and exclusive private village and is located in a quiet area away from the main roads. As such it has no passing traffic and is very peaceful. There is however a path at the back of the complex that takes you directly into the town centre where all the Shops, Restaurants and Nightlife can be found and this is no more than 5 minutes walking distance from the villa. The nearest Supermarket can be found here too.

Also, as this villa is part of the Orka group you are also able to use all the facilities at the nearby 4* Orka Hotel Complex.

Spacious Living Room

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

The Turquoise Coast /Lycia region of Turkey is simply stunning. It is located on the Mediterranean coast to the South West of the country and has spectacular pine clad mountains, beautiful beaches and crystal clear waters.

The weather is very warm and sunny with summer temperatures often reaching into the 30's. Hisaronu benefits from being at an elevation of around 1000 feet and is therefore is a couple of degrees cooler and much more comfortable when temperatures are at their highest.

Hisaronu is in a perfect location positioned midway between Olu Deniz and Fethiye and travel around the area could not be easier as there is a regular and very cheap Dolmus (Minibus) service available. These vehicles are now new modern vehicles and are air fully conditioned.

You will find the locals and the Turkish people in general to be extremely welcoming and friendly and there are a great variety of different places for you to visit and many things to do from here that will guarantee to suit all tastes.

The Hisaronu / Central Hisaronu area

Olu Deniz - "The Blue Lagoon" it is certainly one of the most phographed beaches in the world and often featured in travel brochures. It is a white beach with crystal clear Turquoise waters and has Mount Babadag as a backdrop which is a favourite spot for Paragliders to launch from and land on the beach following the long and exhilerating ride down. You can book Tandem Paragliding almost anywhere and can also book direct at their landing areas on Olu Deniz beach. There is also a range of water sports that can be had here and boat trips and Scuba Diving is also available.
Hisaronu also offers Go-Karting, Microlight Pleasure Flights and Quad Bike/Buggy hire.

Fethiye - This ancient city "Telemessos" is famous for it rock tombs that are carved into the cliffs that surround it by the Lycians. They can be clearly seen are elaborately carved and date back to the 4th century BC. Fethiye is also has a beautiful Marina where a variety of Boat trips, Fishing trips and Diving trips can be booked and you can also take the ferry across to Rhodes from here.
It is also a great place to browse around and shop in the narrow streets of the old city and there is Market Day held here on a Tuesday where many a bargain can be found. At the end of the day you can just relax and enjoy watching the sunset here from one of the many charming Restaurants and Bars that line the Marina.

Kayakoy - "The Ghost Village" Situated only a few miles from the villa in the beautiful and tranquil Kaya Valley the ruins from this abandoned Greek village stand on a hillside overlooking the valley. You can wander through them and climb to the highest point where the remains of an old church stand at the top with views down the other side of the hill to the sea.
There are some excellent restaurants to be found here too making it a great place to just chill out.

Salikent Gorge - "The Hidden Valley" Is a canyon that is18km long and is reputed to be the longest and deepest in Turkey. The water is crystal clear and is extremely cold as the sun is unable to penetrate the gorge to warm the waters due to the height and steepness of its sides. This is a great place to visit and should be added to your list !

Ski-ing is also available here in the winter season and is approximately an hour away by car. The snow capped mountains can be seen from the villa untill early summer.

Trips to see Pumukale, Ephesus, and Capadocia are also possible and organised trips to these places and many others can be booked locally.

“An excellent villa in a great location” No 1 is a villa of the highest quality, it's position in the complex allowed for privacy when desired and an area on the other side of the villa where you can be sociable with other guests. The complex is perfectly positioned, having a quiet location but close to all amenities in this friendly resort. The staff were very professional and most helpful. The prices were very reasonable at the pool bar and the food was very good.I would highly recommend this villa and will most certainly return ourselves.

Been going on holiday for past 20 years last 5 years to Turkey. This is the first time we stayed in a villa was very impressed. It was perfect the place,the location,the people. We all had a fab time. Loved having are own sunbeds and having breakfast sitting outside in the shaded patio area. You could make the holiday as relaxed or as busy as you like.
