About the home

This 2 bedroom villa was completed in 2007 and in 2008 was awarded a Silver Medal for ‘Best Development in Turkey’. The villa is fully furnished to a very high standard and benefits from a large terrace with built in BBQ, sun beds for relaxing.

The grounds and garden are extremely well maintained with an onsite caretaker and surrounded by beautiful scenic views to the nearby mountains.

The complex boasts a 650 metre pool with terraced area, plenty of sun beds and umbrellas, a smaller children’s pool, 24 hour security with safety deposit box facilities at reception. Orka Village is an exclusive complex and located in a quiet area with no passing traffic yet within a few minutes’ walk of Central Hisaronu.

The villa is fully furnished to a very high standard with a fully fitted kitchen with all modern appliances. It is air conditioned throughout with mosquito screens fitted to all doors and windows. The spacious living room has 2 double settees for relaxing, satellite TV, DVD and CD player.

The 2 bedroom (one double, one twin) are both spacious with en suite facilities and private balconies. Each room has comfortable beds and plenty of room for storage. Clean bed linen and towels are provided and regularly changed. The villa also has a third bathroom downstairs with shower.

There are 2 sets of patio doors leading to a large terrace with built in BBQ, sun beds for relaxing. There’s also a covered area for dining. This villa is situated in a more private area of the complex with very few people needing to walk past to other properties.

Further details

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required in advance to secure booking. Full payment is required 8 weeks before departure. Transfers to and from Dalaman can be arranged if required. Smoking is not permitted inside the villa. Villa is available from 4pm on date of arrival (unless by prior arrangement) and must be vacated by 12 noon on day of departure.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

Turkey’s south western Mediterranean Coast is also often referred to as the Turquoise Coast, the area is surrounded by breath taking views, with stunning mountain backdrops and pine clad forests, its beauty is unquestionable. There are numerous well-known ancient ruins throughout the area and stunning scenery everywhere.

Olu Deniz is one of the most beautiful beach resorts in Turkey - and is certainly the most photographed on the Turquoise Coast and can be seen in any tourist brochure of Turkey! The beautiful turquoise waters of the bay and lagoon bask beneath the Babadag Mountain. You can relax on the lovely beach or if you're looking for something more active, you even go Paragliding or choose from numerous water sports.

Fethiye is a charming town set in a wide but sheltered bay. The bay is dotted with many small islands, and surrounded by a beautiful backdrop of mountains. Built on the ancient site of Telmessos, you will see the remains of Lycian rock tombs scattered around the city. The Roman theatre is also the venue for outdoor concerts in the summer.
There is a large weekly market on Tuesday, or the fish market, where you buy your fish from a central stall and take it to one of the restaurants nearby to be cooked and served for a small charge.
Fethiye has one of best harbours on Turkey's Turquoise Coast. You can stroll along the picturesque quayside and choose your Gulet trip to the nearby islands for a great day or swimming and sunbathing. There is a also a fast hydrofoil service to the nearby Greek island of Rhodes. If you are just wanting to relax you can sit for a while in the many bars and cafes where you can have a cooling drink or a Turkish coffee and watch the world go by.

Fethiye is only a short 15 minute dolmus ride away from Orka Village.

The Hisaronu / Central Hisaronu area

Hisaronu is just a short distance inland from Turkey's Mediterranean coast and is a popular holiday resort with hotels, bars, restaurants, shops and is ideally situated for those who wish to explore the area, just relax in the sun or enjoy an active holiday or sightseeing and water sports Hisaronu is located within a short 'dolmus ride from the centre of Fethiye, the beautiful beach resort of Oludeniz and numerous places of interest. It is ideal for walkers. Being set at high altitude the town also has the advantage of a cooling breeze and is less humid than the coast.

The main street of Hisaronu has a vast variety of shops with everything you could wish for together with money exchange and supermarkets. Hisaronu is host to a weekly Monday market with the a chance to ‘haggle’ the price of your bargains.

Hisaronu has many restaurants and bars to cater for the tastes of international tourists, from traditional English, Italian, Indian, Chinese and of course Turkish.

Many trips are available to be booked locally from where you will normally be picked up and dropped off at the villa.
Hisaronu is only a 5 minute walk from Orka Village so is ideally situated.
