About the home
Chez Bobeau is a beautiful chalet which sleeps up to 20 guests in 8 bedrooms that are situated over 3 floors, which have been modernly decorated but are still full of character. The chalet is in a great location, less than a 5 minute walk to the main ski lift and only a 6 minute walk to the centre of town.
The chalet benefits from a luxury 7 seater hot-tub, a games room with pool table, Wii and table football, an open log fire, WiFi and its own fully stocked bar. The chalet has a stunning and very spacious living area, where 20 people can eat and relax in comfort.
We pride ourselves on serving fantastic food - filling breakfast, afternoon tea and homemade cakes and a delicious four course evening meal with quality wines. During the summer months, we also offer the chalet on a self-catered or B&B basis.
Samoens is a hidden gem of a resort, undiscovered by many tourists and situated less than an hours drive away from Geneva airport.

The chalet has a fantastic dining and lounge area with a beamed ceiling and a warming open log fire, as well as a snug area with deep comfortable sofas. We also have a fully stocked bar. The games room is ideal for children with pool table, table football and a Wii. There is a large flat screen TV, i-pod docking, wireless internet, huge range of DVDs and UK satellite TV.
All the beds are dressed in cotton bedlinen and fluffy towels are provided.
On the ground floor there are 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and shower room, on the first floor two bedrooms and a bathroom and on the second floor an en suite bedroom, three bedrooms and a bathroom. Two of the bedrooms are ideal family rooms as they sleep up to 4 people.

At the rear of the chalet is an amazing luxury 7-seater HOT-TUB, which has 42 jets to ease your aching limbs.
In addition, there is a large south facing terrace at the front of the property, with a large barbecue, garden furniture and sun loungers and more stunning views of the Giffre valley.
We have a large professional table tennis table for your use.
The chalet is in a quiet location, set back from the road, and has space for 5 cars to park.

The French Alps are known for being snow-sure in winter, and warm in the summer.
Chez Bobeau is only 40 minutes away from Chamonix, Annecy with it's beautiful lake is less than an hour away and Lake Geneva in Switzerland is 50 minutes by car.
The Grand Massif / Samoens area
Samoens is the only "historically listed" ski resort in France, due to the beauty of its medieval architecture, and it has been awarded the "Coq D'Or" prize for being one of the most beautiful villages in France It has a tranquil peaceful atmosphere unlike most ski resorts.
Samoens - together with the other villages of Morillon, Flaine, Les Carroz and Sixt - makes up the Grand Massif ski area. Samoens offers direct access to fabulous skiing, starting at 1600, and rising to 2500m, with over 265km of pistes which cater for all abilities. All of our customers receive a 10% discount at the local ski hire shop, and included in the winter price is a day of free on-piste ski guiding.
Chez Bobeau is ideally positioned right next door to Samoens' outdoor swimming pool, lakes, tennis courts and adventure climbing for children. In summer the possibilities for out-door activities are endless - hiking, biking, rafting on the Giffre river, parapenting, climbing, jet skiing and Via Ferrata!! There is a 18 hole golf course only 20 minutes away.
Samoens centre has lots of individual shops; and there are a wide variety of restaurants - many of which offer Savoyarde specialities such as raclette and fondue.

- Fly to Geneva - Samoens is only 75km away.
- Cheap flights available from Easyjet to Geneva from many UK airports. Check BA and Swissair for good deals too.
- Airport transfer service available from 30 euros each way
- Use the channel port of Calais and drive to Samoens, which will take you around 8 hours, all on motorways.
- A car is not necessary in winter, only for self-catering in summer.
