Amazing views across the valley and pistes. Ice rink, restaurants, shops and all other amenities 1 minute walk away. Ski lifts 5 minutes away on free ski bus. Developed and fitted to a high specification (an MGM property) in 2008.

Lucada Les Cristallieres is a luxury self catering ski apartment located right in the centre of Les Carroz. The apartment is 90sqm on one level and sleeps up to 8 in 3 bedrooms and lounge: 1 double bedroom (with en-suite bathroom), 2 twin bedrooms, double sofa bed in lounge.

Les Carroz d'Araches in the Grand Massif, less than one hour from Geneva, was established in 1936 and is one of the oldest traditional ski resorts in the Alps. It is linked to Flaine, Morillon, Samoens, and Sixt which are the other stations in the Grand Massif, and includes 265km of downhill ski runs.

The resort is suitable for all levels of ability from easy greens for the newest beginner and children to the most challenging blacks for the experienced skier.

The Grand Massif / Les Carroz d'Araches area

Les Carroz has the charm of a traditional alpine village combined with all modern amenities. The resort is an ideal family location with restaurants and bars for all tastes, shops, crèche facilities, choice of ski schools and numerous activities. This is a great location both in winter and summer. The skiing takes in the villages of Les Carroz, Samoens and Morillon and, of course, Fleine. Les Carroz benefits from a modern cable car from the village operating throughout the year. A well stocked Spar is immediately next door to the complex and the village offers a range of restaurants and shops. If you have a car, its so easy to drive up to the cable car and start your day that way. The alternative is to hop on to the free and regular ski bus.

For ice skaters, there is a public rink immediately next door to the complex.

By Plane
Geneva is the closest airport to Les Carroz (80km).

By Transfer - Car Hire
This is a fast and easy way to get to Les Carroz (approximately 50 minutes) and gives you flexibility for the rest of your holiday. The apartment comes with private parking. Our advice is to hire the car from the Swiss side, a little bit more expensive than the French side, but less hassle and if you hire from the French side there is an additional Swiss road tax charge of €30.

There are daily services between Geneva and Les Carroz using the coach company SAT. Costs approximately €30 per person per single trip. This takes approximately 1.5hr. For bus booking information please use these links:

Getting to Les Carroz (Road and Channel)
By Road
There is direct access to Les Carroz via the Autoroute Blanche motorway (A40), part of the European motorway network. Follow the A40 from Geneva towards Chamonix. Exit at direction Cluses centre, take the N205 direction Sallanches, take the left junction after 3kn signed Les Carroz d'Araches/Flaine. Follow very bendy mountain road, passing through Araches and on up to Les Carroz. Just before the village centre take a sharp right turn signed Les Carroz l'Ouest.
