The Village Cottage is situated in the centre of the historic village of Bushmills. Cushioned between the village shops and award winning restaurants, this authentic Village Cottage offers an experience for up to 6 guests. Built in the 1800s, the two-storey cottage offers a master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, a double room, and a third bedroom with bunk beds with a family-friendly living area with a flat-screen TV and a fully fitted self-catering kitchen.

With free parking, wifi and full amenities, we are within walking distance of the world-renowned Bushmills Distillery and artisan galleries located throughout the village. The Cottage is Tourism Northern Ireland approved with a three star rating and is run by a certified Worldhost Ambassador. There is additional parking to the rear with a small outside living area for catching the afternoon sun.

To continue the experience, we are located less than 6 minutes drive from the UNESCO World Heritage Site - Giant’s Causeway and a 6 minute drive to the medieval Dunluce Castle, leading to Portrush and the Golf Links Course Royal Portrush, next to the Blue Flag Sandy Beaches. The surrounding area offers numerous outdoor activities, including walking, fishing, surfing, experiencing the delights of the National Trusts properties and locations throughout the coastal route, returning to the joys and comfort of the Village Cottage Bushmills.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send James & Irene (the owner) a message.

If James & Irene (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
