The Brittany region
Brittany is a favourite with tourists as it is for us - a pleasing climate that is not too hot and considerably warmer than the a lt of the UK, rolling lush countryside, stunning coastline, places of great historical interest and of course, wonderful French food and wine.
Dinan is a stunning medieval town partly positioned up on a hill within fortressed walls but also if you follow one of the most picturesque streets down the hill you discover another laid back part of Dinan positioned along the river in the valley below and full of restaurants and cafes from which to admire the boats as they pass relaxed pace.
