Watch passing boats/yachts from the balcony, lounge or veranda or simply walk 100 yards to take a dip in the sea, walk along the coast, or soak up the sun and take in the views whilst bathing by the seafront.

The villa has been furnished to a high standard, both indoors and outdoors ,and has plenty of private outdoor grounds. Internet television is available offering a range of channels and there is DVD player for your own DVD entertainment for relaxing evenings in.

The villa is arranged on three levels. The first floor has the main bathroom, and a total of three bedrooms - one twin and two double of which one is the master. The master bedroom has it's own en-suite. The basement has one further bedroom with two single beds - an ideal place to transfer that person who has had a little too much to drink or keeps you awake through snoring!

The basement has its own separate bathroom, a beanbag and sofa bed for relaxing which can accommodate 2 children/young adults. There is ample room there for children to have their own party, play music, whilst the adults enjoy a party at ground level. The basement rooms have patio doors allowing access to external stairs leading back up to ground level and the pool. There is a cot located in the master bedroom and high chairs are also available should you have toddlers in your group.

There is an outdoor barbecue for the all important pool parties! The swimming pool is 10m x 5m and has Roman steps at the shallow end, making it easy for young children and new swimmers to enter the pool, and a step ladder located at the deep end of the pool. An external shower is available next to the pool.

The villa pool and the lounge/dining area overlooks a play area for children. So, any young children can play and yet still be in view. You can enjoy the pool facilities whilst they play hide and seek! At the end of the villa complex you can enjoy stunning views of the sea, or you can walk down a flight of steps to take a dip in the sea, but beware of the pebbles there!

The villa is approached via a road lined with palm trees and through electrically operated security gates. There is a private car parking port by the entrance to the villa allowing easy offloading of shopping. There is a path flanked by a landscaped garden, a hedge and flowers on either side.

About this location

The Paphos District

Paphos is well known as a tourist region of Cyprus. The days are made pleasant by the proximity of the sea producing a welcome breeze and warm evenings, whilst inland it gets cooler at night.

Paphos offers a selection of leisure and holiday facilities for any age group. The people are very friendly and accommodating, and English is widely spoken. Large supermarkets such as E & S, Orphanides, Debenhams, Papantoniou, Chris Cash & Carry and Debenhams out of town stores tend to have cheaper prices than smaller supermarkets. They can also be found in the Paphos town and some in the tourist area of Kato Paphos.

Please remember that it can get very hot at around midday, so most places close for a siesta. This time ranges from 12 (noon) to 3pm. However, tourist areas and restaurants often remain open.

Paphos has an abundance of activities to take advantage of, whether that be group outings to the local Tenpin Bowling Centre, a race around the Go Karting track, a covert operation at the Paintballing facility, or a round of golf in the nearby Hills. Cyprus also has some of the cleanest crystal clear waters in Europe and the Paphos/Coral Bay region is home to several diving centres:

The temperatures in Paphos range from between 8 to 17 degrees centigrade in the off-peak season and can reach up to 32 degrees centigrade during the months of June to October due to it's coastal location. However, Cyprus as a whole has over 340 sunny days each year and the temperatures can exceed 40 degrees centigrade!.

Make sure you use plenty of sun protection and after sun products to minimise skin burning and to keep the hard earned tan for longer!

Coral Bay

Coral Bay is the most popular beach in the Paphos district. It is a crescent moon of fine sand, with a scattering of shingle and rock, shelving gently into the sea. There are three tavernas on the beach and adequate toilet facilities. This is a busy beach in peak season and is perfect for children and water sport fanatics alike.

Within driving distance (or a long walk) is the town of Peyia. Polis and Latchi and other landmarks are all with in easy reach. Regular bus services to Paphos, Peyia and other areas are available throughout the day.

Golfers have an ideal opportunity to tackle the challenging courses at Aphrodite Hills, Secret Valley and Tala within picturesque surroundings. For the more adventurous seeking walking treks and historical monuments, there are the Akamas mountains and Troodas mountains These are all within easy reach, taking about 30 minutes by car .

The main tourist resort are bustling with shops, markets, museums, art galleries, restaurants, nightclubs, the list is endless! However, there are still many smaller 'villages' where life carries on as it has done for decades. Take some time to explore the villages and see traditional handicrafts being made. Here Cypriot life is at a very Cypriot pace, slowly, slowly!

The island is at the heart of three continents and has an area of approximately 9,250 square kilometres. The stunning coastline stretches for over 800 km and ranges from rugged and rocky to fine, golden sand shelving gently into the sparkling, crystal-clear Mediterranean sea.

Cyprus is steeped in rich history, over 9,000 years old, and has many wonderful archaeological treasures. The occupation by many civilisations, including the Romans, Byzantines and Greeks, have all left a dramatic influence. There are crusader fortresses surrounded by tall cypress trees, Greco-Roman theatres carved into rock faces and Byzantine monasteries perched precariously on mountain tops.

"Bit of TLC needed and it would be great"

Thank you for your detailed review of our Villa as it is always good to hear the full views of our guests in order to identify areas to improve and also those things that we are doing well.

Based upon your feedback, we have now purchased 8 new sun loungers and we are looking for some new high-quality parasols.

It does appear that there may have been some miscommunication regarding the presence of a maid service: The Villa is fully self-catering with once weekly changes of bedlinen carried out by the Management Team. The washer/dryer facilities enable all guests to wash their own towels and linens with their own desired frequency. We then issue a clean set of towels for the next group of incoming guests. I do apologise if any other inference with regards to changes of towels was perceived.

Thank you for your patience with the Television problem that you encountered. When we contacted the Management Team, they found that there was a problem with the Satellite box and so tried to repair it. Unfortunately, despite attempts to repair the problem even after your departure and having obtained feedback from TV repair men it now appears that the problem with the box may not be repairable. Instead, we are investing in a new TV service which will also provide a wider choice of channels than our other previous guests experienced.

Thank you for notifying us of smells in the basement area. We will be arranging for this to be looked at. With regards to furniture, in total, we have already had nearly 100 bookings but we have found that there have been an increasing number of larger group bookings over the last 2 years which has meant that the furniture has had a lot more wear and tear than anticipated. Therefore, this year we are investing in more furniture which will allow larger groups to have an even better stay.

Most of our guests have been pleasantly surprised with the Basement area as it is spacious and designed in such a way that actually maximises natural light into the area whereas basements by their very nature of being located underground normally have no windows and are usually very tight spaces. However, we will look to see if lighting can be improved.

We are glad that you enjoyed your Holiday and with the upgrades that we will be making within the next 4 months, we are hopeful that our guests will continue to have a good experience with us

Thank you for your review of the Villa, its location, and some of the nearby amenities.

We have just conducted an inspection visit of the Villa and having also taken into account the feedback provided by yourself and other guest, I am pleased to report that we will be making some improvements in the coming months.

We are planning on brand new seating in the lounge area that will be better suited for larger parties as well as new furniture in other areas.

We have just invested in new garden furniture which will be arriving shortly that will again cater for larger parties.

Unfortunately, the Satellite box which we used stopped working during your stay and so our Management Team have installed a new box as a temporary measure before investing in a new system which will enable the streaming of content over the internet. This will also mean that we will be providing free WiFi in the future.

We're glad that you enjoyed your stay and enjoyed the location and the range of amenities nearby and we hope to welcome you back again very soon to experience the upgrades!

"Fantastic views/location"

"Very well kept and comfortable villa with magnificent view"

The villa is clean, in good working order , well equipped with a wonderful porch overlooking a beautiful pool and out to the sea. The surrounding area consists mainly of other holiday villas and is very quiet and well kept. The way to the public coral beach is about 10 -15 minutes by foot, or two stations by bus 615 running on the only main street, or by taxi ( a ripoff).
The only complaint is that there is no wifi

We aim to provide a comfortable and welcoming environment for all our guests and we are happy that you found it clean and well equipped so that you could relax and enjoy your holiday.
At present, guests tend to use the free WiFi available in the nearby restaurants, cafes and bars. However, we are currently looking into providing WiFi facilities at the Villa in a way that does not increase costs for our guests and hope to have this implemented shortly.

As well as the other child-friendly features we have such as the two cots and two high-chairs, we are looking into ways of gating the internal staircases to the large basement and first floors to provide further piece-of-mind when guests stay in such an open-plan holiday setting.
