There are many excellent bars and restaurants within easy reach, we would recommend the Glenhouse and the Rusty Nail for excellent food.

The Province of Ulster region
Donegal is the perfect spot if you long to get away from it all. With soaring sea cliffs that plummet 300 metres, deserted white sandy beaches, jaw-dropping landscapes, excellent seafood and quiet cosy pubs, Donegal forces you to sit back, slow down and admire the view.
But whether you want to opt for long rambling walks over rugged terrain, laze around on a scenic beach, or explore an ancient site, this spectacular county in Ireland's North West corner is hard to beat.
This house is located just outside the beautiful town of Clonmany. The jewel of Clonmany "The Market House" is to be found in the centre of the village. Just outside Clonmany, the ruins of Leenan Fort document the days of yore. And the old Straid Church is to be found just two miles outside the village. A trip to the nearby Famine Village in Doagh Island provides the visitor with accounts of the past in an active form. Golfing plays a large role in the list of leisure activities.
The Ballyliffin Golf Club hosts two eighteen hole links courses and is often frequented by the rich and famous, including the world reowned golfer Nick Faldo. The famous Mamore Gap is a mere 5 minute drive from the house. Mamore Gap in the Urris Hills takes the traveller on a long, winding path to spectacular panoramic views of both the Inishowen peninsula and the neighbouring Fanad peninsula. The Glenevin waterfall is within walking distance, after exploring this spectacular area of natural beauty, stop for a refreshing cup of tea and scones, or a hearty lunch/dinner, in the beautiful surroundings of the Glen House. Experience the warm Irish welcome, extended to locals and travellers alike, by the proprietor Sonia. Or else walk on for another 2 mile to the award winning Rusty Nail bar and restaurant. Ample beaches, including Binnon bay, Tullagh bay, Leenan bay, and Pollan bay are all seated in spectacular panoramic views of both the Inishowen peninsula and the neighbouring Fanad peninsula as does the little known Glenevin waterfall.
The famous Clonmany festival takes place between Sunday the 4th to the 11th of August,

"Amazing little treasure!"
Absolutely fab from beginning to end. We arrived to a table prepared with cupcakes and treats for the kids. It was a home away from home. Great safe space for kids to play. Every thing has been thought of and covered. The views from decking area are great, the boys loved being so close to the beach. Hope to visit again!

"beach &scenery to die for!"
We all had a wonderful Easter week in Tullagh Bay. The Beach House is very clean, well furnished, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and the beach hut was so handy! Our days were spent walking along the gorgeous beach, paddling, rock climbing, kids and hubby body boarding and me having a relaxing drink on the decking looking out at the fabulous view. Terence made us really welcome and had lots of helpful tips on places to visit. We would highly recommend a stay in The Beach House.
I am so glad that you all had a wonderful time at the beachhouse.I try my best to ensure that my guests are fully catered for and looked after. I also pride myself in the fact that my house is child friendly and that there is always toys and outdoor play equipment available for them. The decking area is loved by all guests due to the beautiful local scenery that can be viewed. Hope to see you and your family again in near future, all the best from Lorraine and Terence.

"My Dream House by the sea"
This was exactly what we needed...breathtaking views from the end of the garden...superb assistance from Lorraine and her husband...our kids (2 and 6) were spoilt for choice..play in the garden with the toys supplied..go to the beach..play pirates on the decking. This was one of our greatest holidays at a superb location and accommodation. Would highly recommend...
Thank you for your wonderful review. We do our best to ensure that everyone's holiday at Beach House Tullagh Bay is a memorable one. We hope to see you and family again soon. Kind regards, Lorraine.

"Great place to stay whether with partner or all your family"
We spent 3 weeks in the house in June/July 2013, first German grandparents allone, later with Irish grandson (1) and his parents, then with German niece and her 2 Irish kids ( 5,7). We all loved the house, the garden and the decking. We didn't miss anything neither in the kitchen, the bedrooms, the bathroom nor in the garden. Lorraine's and Terence's house was very clean, they both were extremly friendly and gave lots of informations, toys for the kids or DVDs for some rainy days. We recommend this house to all people who won't miss shops, discos ... and who love nature and a peaceful surrounding.
Thank you for your glowing review. We work to ensure our visitors experience the best holiday possible. We hope to see you again in the future. Kind regards, Lorraine.

"We'll be back!"
This house is a gem. Fitted with everything you could possibly require, from children's toys to picnic plates, set in a stunning location with direct access to the beach, through an amazing garden (which the children loved as much as the sandy beach) - we are hooked. We stayed with 3 generations (from age 4 to 60 something) and it was the perfect setup. A very relaxing setting, ideal for families with young children (and anybody who loves horses should definitely book a beach ride with the nearby Equestrian centre!). I can't recommend this house highly enough.
Thank you for your delightful review. We do our best to ensure the needs of our guests are catered for to the highest extent possible. We go the extra mile to ensure that children are entertained while they stay at our holiday home. Kind regards, Lorraine.

We have just returned from a week's holiday at the Beach House, Tullagh. We had a fantastic week. Our accommodation was first class the our every need catered for. The decking area at the end of the garden was A1, with great views of the beach and surrounding countryside. A great location and our hosts Lorraine and Terence couldn't have been more helpful, giving us plenty of tips of where to go and what to see. We would definitely like to come back.
Thank you for your fantastic review, we are delighted that you found everything to your pleasing. As this is our first year renting, we are very new to this and appreciate the very positive feedback we get from all our clients. Hope to see you all again in the near future.

"An ideal family getaway"
The beach house was first class from start to finish. The house itself was a good size, spotlessly clean with everything we required. The garden is very spacious and ideal for children to play in with football nets etc. The highlight, however, has to be the outstanding decking area - views of the beach are amazing and it really feels like your own little haven right on the beach. The owners could not have been more accommodating and welcoming - very nice people. The area itself is very nice also. Overall, a top holiday house and one which we would love to visit again in the future!
Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We are delighted that you all had such a wonderful time at the beach house in Tullagh Bay. We hope to see you and your lovely family again some time.
