The South East England region

Fisher Dairy nestled within a working farm three miles south of the historic Cathedral City of Chichester in the quiet hamlet of Fisher which is in the middle of the 'Chichester Coastal Plain'. To the south of us we have Pagham Harbour Nature reserve – we are only about a mile and a half from the harbour wall

Chichester has a rich history as a market town and early Roman settlement with remains at Fishbourne and Bignor. Chichester Cathedral with its 84m spire rising above the green copper roof dominates the local landscape and is one of only two cathedrals in the UK that can be seen from the coast. Chichester Festival Theatre offers a program of performances through the year

Chichester

The local beaches of Pagham, Selsey and West Wittering are a short drive away and offer opportunities for a variety water sports or sandcastles with the kids. Chichester Harbour with its many local quays and marinas, such as Bosham and Dell Quay offers excellent sailing and boating options.

The South Downs National Park is just to the north of Chichester and has almost endless biking and hiking to challenge the fittest and wow the humblest with amazing views and outstanding beauty

Goodwood racecourse and motor circuits offer a regular program of events including the Glorious Goodwood Racing Festival, the Revival weekend and Festival of Speed. There are also two renowned golf courses at Goodwood

Pagham Harbour nature Reserve and SSSI is a short walk from Fisher Dairy and attracts a range of both migratory and resident wildfowl including ducks, geese, waders and more unusual visitors such as Egrets and Snipe

Around the farm and surrounding area we have a variety of wildlife including owls, bats, partridges, pheasants, kestrels, finches, tits, hares, rabbits and foxes as well as the resident Hereford cattle, chickens and guinea fowl.

The South Downs locally are home to herds of Fallow Deer and some rarer bird life such as Red Kites and Ravens

"Superb accommodation in a lovely setting"

We spent a month here while house hunting. It was a perfect location being tucked away down a lane but within easy striking distance of Chichester and it's environs.
The accommodation was very comfortable and high spec - everything we needed was there (especially for a longer stay). It has its own private, secure, garden so ideal for children.
The hosts were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. We were made to feel most welcome and would not hesitate to recommend it.

"HIGHLY RECOMMENDED"

Spacious, clean and full of character, this conversion was ideal for four adults and two young children, with excellent cooking facilities and a comfortable area for relaxing in. Could not have suited usd better. Owners very helpful and accomodating.
