"Peace and quiet in beautiful French countryside."

From the moment we arrived we were made very welcome. Dean and Veena are very pleasant hosts who are very helpful at all times. The property is lovely and the welcome each morning from the ducks and chickens is a pleasant way to start the day.
I fished the lake most evenings and managed to catch many fish up to 29lb in weight. The lake is a lovely place to spend some quiet time watching the wildlife.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is a lovely area that I would recommend people to visit. Thanks again.

"Simply the Best"

We stayed at Acorn Lake for 5 days in May 2012. The gite was very comfortable and had everything you needed for a self catering holiday in France. Dean and Veena couldn't do enough for us to make our stay so memorable, they are both very friendly and hospitable. The gardens around the gite are beautiful with chickens ducks and baby lambs walking around freely. The fishing lake was the highlight for my husband having caught several fish. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Acorn Lake to anyone who wished to holiday in this beautiful part of France. Simply the Best - 10/10

"Friendly hosts, comfortable and with Total peace & quiet, with fantastic fishing on site."

My Wife and I totally enjoyed our stay, and could have stayed longer, the place was idealic, quiet and peaceful but within easy travelling distance of places to visit and things to see. The gite has everything that you need for a relaxing vacation, also there are lovely walks in the grounds and great fishing if, like me, you are into angling. all that is left to say is a big thankyou to Dean & Veena for a well needed, & relaxing vacation.
