Dunapartman - best panorama!

About the apartment
The history of the house is tightly intertwined with that of Hungary: it was built in the second half of the 19th century, in the close vicinity of one of the most beautiful bridges right in the heart of Budapest and functioned as the permanent residence of the Counts Andrássy until the 20th century. The apartment survived World War II and the communist dictatorship, finally becoming the property of a noble Hungarian family of artists. The owner's father was a passionate collector of art, many of the apartment's furniture and paintings are pieces of his collection.
The host, Péter Zsuffa (45) has played an active part in forming the Hungarian underground culture since the 1980s and '90s. Thus the apartment emits an eclectic vibe: it is both classic and modern, bohemian and reliable at the same time. Péter is an artist who has been making fire enamel paintings for 25 years, and his works of art have a quality guarantee of 500 years ((website hidden)) He lives just around the corner with his family, therefore they are quick to be at your service in three different languages (English, Italian and German).
Péter's aim is that guests arrive as distant acquaintances and leave as good friends. To those who are interested, he is willing to tell more about the building, the country and his own life, accompanied by a glass of quality red wine from the famous Szekszárd wine region or a shot of pálinka. Thanks to their large circle of friends, the hosts can also offer unique wine-tasting dinners and personalized city tours in different languages.
From the 30 sq m bedroom / living room guests can enjoy an exceptional view of the Chain Bridge, the Gresham Palace, the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and the impressive Parliament Building. The apartment is both authentic – its kitchen being equipped with early 20th century tools, traditional Hungarian spices and a marble-topped dining table – and modern, with its bathroom's beautiful 21st century minimalist design being of the highest standards.
Guests may find many restaurants, coffee shops, pubs, wine shops and supermarkets nearby, and also pharmacies, currency changers, ATMs and different means of transport are also available in the area. Parking is free of charge in front of the building. The most important sights in the city are also within the walking distance of 5-15 minutes. From Clark Adam square just around the corner, there are a number of buses, trams – and the unique Buda Castle Funicular as well – that take you to the most well-known places of Budapest, like the Castle, the Heroes' Square, the Basilica or the Mall in the city centre.
