Your home away from home gives you exclusive access to an entire cottage. The property: A gorgeous and cosy period 2 bed cottage dating from the 1800s in Park street - St Albans. Recently refurbished and oozing character and charm. River Ver Cottage has been lovingly updated and modernised , maintaining much of the original features and is perfect for short breaks, business or leisure. Fast Wifi, bedding and towels. Nespresso Coffee machine, Free parking, pet friendly (two dogs max) & fully loaded kitchen with dining area and delightful rear patio. Two double bedrooms, Each room can be set up as two singles or a king and sofa bed in the lounge.

River Ver cottage is adorable character home with 2 bedrooms, a family bathroom and fully equipped kitchen, an open lounge area with feature wood fire, smart tv, WiFi. Exposed beams and usual cottage charm, River Ver Cottage would ideally suit families, couples or a small group of friends, up to 4 adults travelling to the area that desire a well equipped and tasteful home. Oozing character and features galore, this is a great retreat for anybody wanting a quality rental.

You will have full use of the property. The bathroom is fully equipped, has a toilet, sink, bath and a separate shower cubicle. Linen and towels are all included to make your stay more enjoyable.

Location:

River Ver cottage is set in a fantastic location in St Albans, with natures walks nearby, Greenfield opposite the property, play ground, river Ver and the lakes all by the door step as well as bars, take away and grocery shop all within a minute walk. With the M1 and M25, both just 5 mins drive away. Equidistant to St Albans and Watford city centres, Harry Potter all less than 10 minutes drive. London is only 20 minutes drive. There are also buses and trains that take you from outside the property to St Albans or Watford train stations (Watford Junction and St Albans Abbey) which then take to the heart of London in 20 minutes.

House Rules:

- Check-in time is 4pm and check-out is 10am.

- Smoking is not allowed indoors. - There is free parking on street parking facilities available outside the property.

- Friendly dogs are wlecomed at the property (max 2).

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
