"Beautiful peaceful setting - wondeful hosts"

We stayed here in August this year and had the most wonderful time. The gite itself was well decorated and very well equipped - but the setting and the hosts are what really makes this place special. … More

"Comfortable, charming and very relaxed."

This place is an old chateau in a little town. The appartments still has the spirit and soul eventhough it is all rebuild and new. The owners has thought of every little detail, that just makes it all work out so well.
The appartments are right next to each other. The walls are well sound isolated, so we didn't hear anything from our neighbors. The porches are split by a little wall, that also makes the outside private.
The place was clean. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom practicle, the kitchen well equipped, with dishwasher, micro wave oven, oven, stove and nice inventory.
The pool were clean and a perfect size. The pool area was nice and relaxing.
The owners is a danish couple, that live in the big house on the property and are very helpful. They arranged wine and cognac tastings for us. They also adviced us on places to go, markets, restaurants, sights... They did it with the perfect balance between being there for us and respecting our privacy.
I borrowed a bike and went to the supermarket 3 km away. A nice bike ride would be to Blaye 18 km away, with new bike paths. We want to try that next time, if it isn't as hot.
When we got there by car, we wrote Coindrias as the street name. It took us right there.
We wanted a vacation where we could slow down from the every rush and just relax. That was what we got. Highly recommendable :-)

"Wonderful Gite with beautiful scenery and easy access by road"

We really enjoyed our stay here and would love to have stayed for longer. We would definitely like to go back and visit again.

The Gite itself was really nice inside and fairly modern. It had everything you would need, including a dishwasher, which is a bonus. The view from the cottage was really beautiful, The setting was so romantic, that we actually got engaged there.

There's a supermarket close by, as well as a bakery so you have everything you need within a close distance. It's also really close to the motorway, so you're never to far away to visit places such as Bordeaux, Pair Non Pair Cave and other places close by.

The owners were really helpful and gave us some good advice on things to do, as well as putting us in touch with a nice cognac distillery, amongst other places. We really couldn't have asked for more.
