Bol has many beautiful beaches. Make sure you take a swim at the beach Zlatni rat (Golden Horn), one of the largest and most beautiful attractions of the Adriatic. It extends nearly half a kilometer into the clear blue sea. It "grows" with the depositing and sedimentation of small gravelly pebbles around the underwater reef. Zlatni rat changes its shape, attempting to conform to the will of the waves and gentle sea currents.
We guarantee that you will have a magnificent time here, so see you in Bol!

The Dalmatia region
Dalmatia is one of the oldest and the largest region of Croatia. The region encompasses the area from the town of Zadar in the North to Dubrovnik in the South. Apart from Zadar and Dubrovnik, it integrates also the towns of Šibenik, Trogir and Split. However, it is not only the big regional cities that attract visitors from all over the world but also the small picturesque settlements and villages in their vicinity as well as the sunny islands and peninsulas. With the beauty of its landscape and rich heritage, Dalmatia represents the Mediterranean as it once was.
Dalmatian islands are the true pearls in the crown of Dalmatia. Dalmatian islands will strike you with their cultural heritage and natural beauty. Let yourself immerse into the magic of the coastal Dalmatia by exploring its long beaches, crystal blue sea, beautiful unspoiled nature and rich tradition. Or you can unveil Dalmatian hinterland rich with rivers and lakes, full of diverse flora and fauna, where the traditional crafts are still alive and everything emanates a special charm and tranquility, characteristic only of a region where people live in harmony with nature.
The island of Brac is the highest and third largest island in the Adriatic Sea. The island is well known for its quality stone used to build many palaces. This is the island with the only stone mason school in Croatia.
Brac Island is easily reached by ferry (1 hour) and a nice day trip out of Split. In Supetar, a pleasant village on the sea shore, walk along the paved trail following the shore to see a lovely church and cemetary by the sea. Enjoy the peacefulness! It is easy to find a little secluded area away from the beach and enjoy swimming in the clear blue water.
Bol, place on the south side of Brac island was destined to base it's tourism on its' natural beauty.
Zlatni rat beach (Golden cape) - known as perfect sunbathing and windsurfing spot, and as unique natural phenomenon. It stretches about half a kilometer into clear Adriatic sea, constantly shifting direction of it's tip influenced by sea currents.
In the smaller places on the island such as Milna, Supetar or Bobovišce one can easily find peace and quiet in the authentic stone architecture. Visitors who wish to experience the atmosphere of a fisherman village are recommended to visit Positra, a small place near the bay of Lovrecina, an ideal spot for a fish picnic.
Postira is a small tourist place situated on the northern side of the island. It has a favorable position and a port, which made Positra a fisherman center. Fertile land in its background provides guests homemade food and excellent wines. There are several smaller bays in the area with sandy (Prvlja), pebbled (Mala Lozna and Zastivanje) and rocky beaches surrounded by pine forests. Visit Dragon's cave situated above Murvica village, which has many carved ornaments representing dragons and other mythological beings.
Vidova gora is the highest mountain on the Adriatic islands. It was named after St. Vid church situated on its top, which is today in a ruinous state. On top of Vidova gora there is a house with a restaurant and stone tables and benches from where you can enjoy the view over other nearby islands of Korcula, Vis and Biševo. When the weather is clear and sunny you can see as far as Apennines.
