Red Palms Villa is located in Umalas, just a short drive from hip and happening Seminyak. Once inside the quiet, fully walled compound, however, one has the feeling of being inside a rural Balinese Village as the villa overlooks a small river and a bamboo grove on the opposite bank. The gentle sound of cowbells indicates the presence of the brown-eyed local cattle grazing in the grove, while free range chickens scratch in the soil looking for bounty in the fertile soil beyond. This is real Bali. Yet in comfort and style!

The 3 bedroom private residence boasts three beautiful Double Suites, each with en suite bathroom and a comfortably furnished outdoor living area overlooking either the River and Jungle or the Pool and Gardens. Each Suite also offers a private outdoor shower in a garden setting along with a mini fridge, safety deposit box, robes, bathroom amenities and flat screen TV. Red Palms Villa is all about private spaces and peaceful surroundings. In the cool leafy garden are two pools - one a plunge pool high above the other - a 9 meter swimming pool set close to the rivers edge and surrounded by tropical plants.

You will meet a charming team of friendly staff who will look after your every need - including a cook who can serve homemade pizza, piping hot, from the outdoor oven. There are two kitchens at Red Palms Villa - one for you, the guest, should you feel the need to rustle up a snack or heat up the baby's bottle, plus the fully equipped staff kitchen close to the outdoor pizza oven. The living area is open to the garden on two sides and graced by the beautiful carved wood roof and pillars of an old Javanese Joglo. It is clear that the owner is a collector of beautiful objets, since everywhere one looks the eye encounters priceless treasures.

Villa Red Palms is located in the peaceful village of Umalas, one of a group of small rural communities that constitute the Kerobokan district, just north of bustling Seminyak. Although Umalas still retains its traditional air, there are several great cafes and restaurants walking distance from Red Palms, and the best French patisserie in Bali - Monsieur Spoon - is nearby!! The villa car provides a free drop off service to Seminyak for villa guests during the day, and it is but a short taxi ride (10 minutes) back to the villa.

Thank you for your valuable feedback to us. We agree, this has been a challenging time for Bali, for the Balinese people and local businesses and of course for all arriving visitors during the unpredictable active volcano phase. We fully understand the worries of our clients, especially when additionally, the international press had spread so much false information and aggravated the visitors concerns. Your booking at Villa Red Palms was for dates 02 - 05 December 2017. The airport was only ever closed for 2.5 days from 27 - 29 November related to the recent Mt. Agung volcano activities. It was not closed during your arrival or departure dates of your Villa Red Palms booking. However, since you had booked a prior period Villa stay with another company and the airport was closed during your other booking, your subsequent stay with Red Palms was affected. When you cancelled your booking for Villa Red Palm, The Villa Owner and Bali Luxury Villas took your situation into consideration and showed flexibility and goodwill when we applied the special volcano deferral policy. Usually the full cancelation no-show policy would have applied, since the airport was operating normally for your booking dates. As you mentioned correctly, the Owner first offered an extension to rebook for a deferred stay within the next 6 months which we renegotiated to 1 year for you. I am sorry, if our flexibility did not meet your expectations. The villa staff was still every day at the villa to work to serve guests and continue to receive their salary in case of NO-SHOWS.  Insurance companies do not compensate the loss to the villa for this last minute cancelation. Our reservations team has been in email exchange with you at various times since your cancelation, assisting you to secure your new booking dates as submitted by you. All your wished dates were confirmed by BLV as available. Bali Luxury Villas has been in business as one of the premier, trusted private villa rental companies since 1999. We firmly believe in finding a fair solution for our valued guests. In this spirit we have been accommodating until today all your deferral date wishes, and hope that you will decide for one soon and hope we will be able to welcome you and your friends to enjoy a stay at Villa Red Palms in 2018. Why can't I call the property manager before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
