About the home

Villa Týmarhane is a beautiful newly completed villa that boasts a lovely elevated position in the mountains above Incesu with spectacular uninterrupted views to the mountains and down to the Mediterranean Sea.
With Forestry land sitting behind the Villa it makes easy access for breath taking walks both towards Ilgaz and Lapta. Also just 5 minutes drive from the sea and 15 minutes from the main town of Kyrenia.
Detached, set in approx. 1/3rd an acre of terraced gardens, it provides very generous accommodation with 4 double bedrooms and three bathrooms, two being en suite; all fully air conditioned and with a glorious horizon infinity pool.

The kitchen is comprehensively fitted with solid wood units; granite work-surfaces; gas hob; eye level electric cooker; dishwasher; washing machine, fridge/freezer; and is accessible from the lounge and hallway. The house is furnished throughout with traditional furniture & furnishings.

For your comfort and convenience the villa, pool and garden will be fully managed and serviced by a local company. The property includes the provision of all bed sheets, bath towels and beach/pool towels.

Fitted with central heating, this villa is ideal for rental throughout the year. An open fireplace is also featured in the main living area.

The newly landscaped terraced garden is spacious and is equipped with sun beds and pool chairs. The multi-levelled terraced grounds also host a fitted barbecue and an external pergola covered terrace with bench seating for al fresco dining

Due to its steep terraced position, it may not be ideal for very young children and those with mobility problems however vehicular access is available at the ground floor level.

The Kyrenia region

North Cyprus is worth visiting at almost any time of year. During July and August rain is almost unheard of and it can be very hot. Spring erupts in a blaze of flowers in mid-February and it is still possible to sunbathe up to the end of November.

For history lovers, there is plenty to see from magical castles and Roman mosaics, to monasteries and churches. There are plenty of beaches ranging from the sophisticated to the wild and deserted.

The Alsancak area

The villa sits just above the village of Alsancak, a typical Cypriot village with plenty of small shops and restaurants. It is a six minute drive to the nearest beaches and about 15-minutes drive into the picturesque harbour town of Kyrenia (Girne) with its massive castle, bustling shops and harbour-side restaurants. Details of local beaches and recommended places to visit can be found in the Information Book in the villa.
New for 2012, the village Market(shop) in Malatya, 10 minutes walk away, which for a number of years been derelict has been reopened by the Granddaughter of the original owners, it is open 09:00 until 22:00 daily. They stock a varied range of produce & products including local fresh bread. You may also sit on their veranda & have tea/coffee whilst watching the World go slowly by, they plan to serve drinks & snacks during the summer months.

Fly to Ercan in Northern Cyprus from Stansted, Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester. We can assist with obtaining good deals on prices for flights, car hire and airport transfers if required. Alternatively, fly to Larnaca in Southern Cyprus and get a transfer by taxi. Taxi prices vary and advance booking to secure a fixed price is recommended. We can assist with this too, if required.
Tymarhane is 40 minutes drive from Ercan and about 90 minutes from Larnaca.

Ours was a family holiday with Jane & I, our three sons and their wives, Ben & Caroline, Tom & Kathryn, and William & Katie. We try to get together every two or three years to spend some time together in this ever busier world we live in - and your reteat was the best yet. We loved the area, the people were great - really friendly, and there were lots of interesting places to visit .
We also noted and fully appreciated the arrangements you had made to make our stay problem free - thank you.

We had a fabulous holiday the villa was fantastic and every thing went smoothly. Thank you so much for arranging transfers and hire car we have never been to a place that was full of friendly trusting people nothing was too much trouble.
After that it was all downhill.... You certainly have a lovely villa in a stunning location, and if we hadn't had a wonderful time we could only blame ourselves. But it was great, and had everything we needed.
So a very relaxing and happy holiday.
