“The Total Package” This cabin had everything and more! So pleased that it lived up to the photos and previous reviews! The owners thought of everything when it comes to outfitting the cabin from hangers in the closets to smore forks for the fire pit. It was clean, cozy, comfortable, and quiet. Just what we needed. The view on the back porch was perfect. The location is far enough out to be quiet but close enough to run into town for dinner plus. We utilized most everything in the cabin. We cooked on the grill, used the hot tub, made smores at the pit, played games, played pool, and cooked meals in the kitchen. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and more. Laundry was also completed before we left. I'm so glad I canceled another reservation to book this cabin. With 3 bedrooms and each having their own bath made a huge difference in our trip. We could all shower at the same time and still had plenty of hot water. Reservation process was simple and easy. Nice people to deal with and answered all my questions quickly. Our kids (son 17 and daughter 24) have asked to come back to The Smoky's and stay in this same cabin. Thank you for sharing your home with us! We made priceless memories!

“Wonderful Guest Cabin” This cabin was the perfect size and had all the amenities my wife and I could have asked for. Our host Peter, and his wife, were very easy-going and kind people and made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Although we only stayed one night, I will definitely remember Peter and Martha anytime my wife and I would like a place to vacation or stay down near Talkeetna. Tobin

“Great Cabin ! Great Price!” This cabin was great! I loved the open living/dinning area ! We were able to order the PPV fight and had plenty of room to watch it on their nice flat screen tv.Had a few goodies in the garage to play with like darts and my favorite a beer pong table ! Loved the large deck with plenty of space to BBQ and hangout and enjoy the fresh air.

“Lovely Little Cabin” My family had such a lovely time visiting the area and staying at Trollhaugen. The cabin was practical for my family and the different sleeping areas were just right for my extended family of 8. We also enjoyed sharing our meals and lounging on the huge deck. The cabin allowed us to have a wonderful weekend getaway.

“Awesome amazing and relaxing” This was the perfect location for a birthday weekend getaway! Saw 2 does within 3 hours of being at the cabin! While watching the does we heard the buck close by and waited for him to come out but never saw him. We did see the smallest deer of our lives (the size of a small dog). The amenities were perfect and relaxing! I am already recommending the location and can’t wait to go back! Just an all around great weekend and perfect location!

“Wonderful place to stay for a week” The cabin was the perfect place to stay for our vacation. It was clean and had everything we needed for the week. The location was awesome, it's set back and surrounded by trees so it's very quiet and private but it's only about 10-15 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg right in the arts and crafts loop. The cabin is up a very steep driveway so a heads up for that! There is a grocery store like 5 minutes away along with restaurants and stores, and Great Smoky Mountain national park is about 15 mins away. Huge TV in the living room, another big TV in the bedroom with DVD player, and a clean and big hot tub on the back porch. We were able to bring our little dog and for the cost of a hotel room we got a whole cabin with full kitchen and hot tub. We can't wait to plan our return trip!
