“Beautiful Honfleur” Everything about Honfleur is beautiful. The streets are lined with restaurants, shops, cafes. There are several good markets throughout the week and freshly caught fish can be caught on the harbourside a few days of the week. The people are friendly and very helpful. The apartment we rented was lovely, with everything you could possibly need for a self catering holiday. You can even get secure parking for your car just a short walk away. The view from the third story (quite a lot of steps to the apartment) is second to none, looking straight across the harbour, with the pont de Normandie bridge in the distance, spectacular :):) Nathalie, the owner, is wonderful, she tells you all you need to know for the gadgets in the apartment and there are lots of maps and information in all languages to give ideas for local visits. The beach at Honfleur is pretty and very quiet, livelier beaches can be found in nearby Deauville and Trouville. Altogether a fantastic week.
