“Peaceful by the sea” What a lovely place to stay! Our hosts Kathleen and Tony were delightfully accommodating and made us feel welcome. Enjoyed countryside strolls by the sea, fantastic kitchen to cook in, and a great location for West Cork villages of Ballydehob, Schull and Bantry. Only complaint-too many rainbows. Highly recommended!

“Perfect for two” We stayed at The Blue School's studio cottage during September 2012 and we will certainly be back. The cottage is situated just outside Clonakilty and was in the ideal location for us; a quiet retreat away from the bustle of the centre but close enough to visit the town daily just to explore or pick up supplies. The apartment is furnished in a rustic style giving it a cosy, homely feel. The cottage was perfect for two and very well equipped, the owners had thought of everything. We wanted a place where we could cook proper meals and found the house had everything we needed to do this (often holiday rentals don’t!). The cottage was clean, warm and private but it was nice to know that Ina and Jean Luc were just next door should we need them. Clonakilty is a faultless holiday location with the most beautiful beaches, endless possibilities for walking and outdoor activities not to mention plenty of lovely pubs (many with live music) and restaurants to choose from at the end of the day. We loved the house and the location...can’t wait to return!
