“We loved the apartment, the wonderful views, Honfleur and would come again” The duplex in Honfleur is wonderful, with lovely views of the harbour from bedrooms and living room. It is very spacious, light, charmingly decorated, well equipped in every way and a joy to come home to each day. We ate inside on the large round dining room which has wonderful views of the sea and an old historic tower. We phoned Sally and Harry for information before we left home and they were most helpful and told us we could contact them anytime There were loads of books to read, DVD’s, games as well as many TV programmes although we personally played cards after dinner. There were lots of restaurant cards and brochures for places of interest, very clear instructions for all the equipment, appliances and supermarket addresses. However, we would like to suggest that they add the address of the closest boulangerie/bakery, the key pad number to open the double gates, and also the names of a couple of local favourite places to visit as we did not want to drive too far afield and the marjority of the ‘most beautiful villages/towns’ sponsored by the internet were well over an hour away by car. Thank you Sally and Harry for sharing your beautiful home with us and we would all be very happy to come back and stay here again and revisit lovely Honfleur which was, for us, number one of all the places we visited.
