“The Lovely Villa Ivy” WOW what a beautiful villa the owners have literally covered off everything you could possibly want. Alexa in every room, Smart TVs, air con, filtered tap water, GHD straightener (the gold ones) and hair dryers plus loads of other little gadgets. The villa was spotless and well laid out. Bedrooms a good size with comfortable beds and ample storage and hanging space. Bathrooms again very modern and decent powerful showers. Kitchen was equipped and some - everything you could possibly need if you wanted to stay in (the welcome pack was a lovely touch - crisps, milk, biscuits, bread, cheese, ham, fresh orange, Pepsi and our favourite some beers a nice bottle of Moët.) The pool area was lovely and the pool was like hopping into a bath it was nice and warm no issues with a salt water pool either we actually got a better and no chemicals so we was happy). Plenty of floats and kids pool toys (we left some armbands and floats as I suspect others do so plenty of stock) Location is perfect too as you have the local Spar supermarket a 5-10 min walk away. (The deli counter when you go in is worth a visit for fresh bread) they also have a couple of restaurants in the same area the India was very nice (we left a menu at the villa - they also deliver) McDonald’s also opposite Spar so ideal if the kids want a happy meal! Go the other way and walk upto the roundabout 10 min walk and turn left you will see all the restaurants and bars circa 50 odd in that area. The whole booking process was smooth and Steve and Anna very attentive and available if needed but equally left us to it. Will we be back? Yes 100% fabulous holiday in a fabulous villa! “Super villa!” We stayed in this gorgeous villa in early April and it truly was a home from home place to stay. The owner,Ann, responded to any questions we had, prior to arrival, very quickly and the property managers were very helpful and swift to deal with any minor things that cropped up. Nothing was too much trouble. Our deposit was returned to us quickly too. On arrival, the welcome pack was so helpful. It contained enough for us to make sandwiches and have a drink and not be burdened by an emergency trip to the supermarket after a long journey. Whilst the weather was beautiful, it was still really helpful to have a heated pool. This was our first villa holiday and our boys adored having such a gorgeous pool all to themselves! It was sparkling clean and a good size for a family. The villa itself was very clean and held everything we needed including the little but vital things like bin bags and dishwasher tablets, and a huge amount of really tasteful plastic crockery. Having a tumble dryer too meant we could wash/dry the lovely fluffy towels throughout the week. We found the wifi very slow but this will undoubtedly be the area rather than the villa itself. It didn't really affect us as we didn't need it for business use on this holiday. The huge catalogue of DVDs were a huge hit with my boys - evening treats! We loved the security of the villa too, safes in each bedroom and a house alarm which we always used but that said we always felt very safe on the island. My husband and I particularly loved the view from this villa. To get up in the morning, breakfast on the pateo in your PJs and look out over the beautiful golf course, was so relaxing without being overlooked from other neighbouring properties. From the upstairs terrace the view was amazing though a bit chilly up there for us in the evenings! But it was early April after all! All in all, it was a priviledge to stay in Ann and Ray's home - we hope to return again one day.
