“comfortable, beautiful location, friendly owners, everything you need” The house is spacious and comfortable, and the garden is lovely with sun and shade and a pool that, while not huge, is big enough for the children to have fun in all afternoon. We messed around in a dinghy on the canal, swam in it, went cycling (if you want bikes it's a good idea to tell the owners in advance and they may be able to arrange them), ate, and lazed. The surroundings are beautiful, although pretty sleepy, and it's a perfect family retreat. There's also a galette restaurant just down the river that I'd recommend.

“Country style, very relaxing!” We wanted to get away from it all, but still be in a close proximity to shops; villages and beaches. Everything is less than an hour by car, ten mins from the village and bars. Great time of year, we got to swim in the pool as well as it is heated. There is a big grassed area to play with the kids, with nice gardens just to sit and read a book. The twilight view over the field was great, watching the colours change as the night went on with a beer or local wine. The couple that run the place are very friendly, Tony and Barb were very helpful. There is a BBQ area near the pool with nice big table for all the family. Ask Tony for help lighting the BBQ if you need it. The beds are comfortable; kitchens have everything you need; TV's are there, but who needs a tv on a family holiday anyway. Its not five star, but I didn't expect that from a country house stay. We are going to go back again and would recomend it to anyone wanting this kind of holiday. Steve

“Busy children, happy parents - a haven which is home from home” Our seventh stay at La Metairie - and we're as happy as ever to be there. Orchard Cottage is comfortable, clean, well equipped and perfect for a family holiday. There's a lovely new bed in the master bedroom, and enough space for all the family. Great kitchen, fab lounge and to have a bath and a shower is a must with small children. Little touches make this place ideal for your holiday - from providing a bath mat to books, games and jigsaws to keep the little ones occupied on the rare rainy days. Outside is a huge playground for the kids, and a lovely spot for a barbecue at the end of the day. The peace and quiet you get from the surrounding fields is hard to beat. But it's nice that you're only a few minutes' drive to the big town also. We will be back next year!

“Great Family holiday location” We booked very let minute and Joanne and Adrain could not have been more helpful. Lovely big garden for children to run around in and climbing frames etc. Really lovely heated pool also.

“Wonderful stay” We stayed at the Wrens Nest - 2 adults and baby . It was a lovely cosy property , full of character with everything that we could have needed during our stay. The owners had thoughtfully left a high chair for our baby to use as well as a baby bath, and travel cot. Tony and Barbara were on hand to assist with any enquires we had about the local area. Camors is close to many towns and villages of interest and we were only had a short drive to reach Vannes . Our hosts were lovely and the property was everything we had hoped for and more and we hope to return in the near future. Thank -you Tony and Barbara for a lovely stay . “A must for any family wishing to explore South Brittany.” Wonderful, picturesque accomodation, spotlessly clean, everything you need for a self catering holiday, gardens, pool and toys have been built with children in mind. Our 3 kids (aged 15, 6 & 3) a had a fantastic holiday. Gites are very private/rural and yet only 5mins away from supermarket, restaurants. So glad we chose this location as it was a perfect base to explore all Brittany has to offer, from the megalithic sites in the sea-side town Carnac, the wonderful arts & crafts in Rochefort-en-Terre or the fantastic Branfere Zoo, the list of things to do goes on and on. The family who own the gites are perfect hosts, there when you need them, helpful, knowledgeable and full of ideas for where you might explore. We had a great time.

“Great Set-up in Great Location” Came to the coach house with my two daughters and partner and enjoyed it immensely. Pool was great, and the kids enjoyed the huge garden with slides,swings, trampoline - you name it! House was clean and confortable with two bathrooms and a kitchen with good utilities (except a coffee/tea pot)... The surrounding area was beautiful and Joanne and Adrian were very friendly. I would recommend the coach house to my friends and family.
