“Perfect for Gettysburg and antietam :)” Close to Gettysburg, Antietam !! Review Submitted: September 4, 2012 Date of Stay: August 2012 This house was incredible for our stay. We had 4 adults and 4 teenagers. Us adults got the bedrooms ( with our own full bathrooms ) and the teens got the basement room (with their own full bathroom ). We were able to grill out, have breakfast every morning and just relax. Morning coffee on the deck - so peaceful, I must have counted 15 hummingbirds. This place is just beautiful. The beds were so comfortable. The location is perfect if Gettysburg, Antietam, Harpers Ferry, Baltimore or Frederick interests you. The Battens are wonderful hosts, we wish we could have stayed an extra day to visit, explore their farm, walk the creek and absorb the peacefulness of this place. This house was immaculate!!
