“Perfect place in Sri Lanka to enjoy the beach, people and cultur” My husband and I travelled through Sri Lanka for a couple weeks, then off to Maldives for a week and were looking for a spot to unwind back in Sri Lanka to wrap up our holiday, this place was perfect. The house is simple but has everything you need (including a washing machine - which we weren't expecting, but was a great treat after travelling for several weeks). Right from the initial booking, Gavin was responsive and the transaction was easy. The staff at the house arranged a driver from/to the airport (about 3 hours) which worked great, stopped to pick up beers for the ride :). Mahinda greeted us and visited a couple times to ensure we had everything we needed. The house staff on site were always busy cleaning the yard, house other accomodations. The security guard overnight was really smiley as well. Mahinda's brother made us a lovely seafood bbq on the beach in our backyard and it was amazing! If we come back to Sri Lanka, we will definitely come back to this house!

“We got more than our money's worth” I was on a trip with a group of friends, looking to have a relaxing week together. From the moment we stepped out of the airport till the end of our stay, we had a wonderful time. We arrived late at night and was met at the airport by the owner, a very friendly and helpful young man. Over the course of our stay, he accompanied and arranged all of our transport for us, and provided recommendations on places to visit. As we were not familiar with the area, this was greatly appreciated. The property is located in the owners family compound, towards the back as a separate guesthouse. This provided multiple benefits to us in terms of both safety and privacy. The house comes equipped with the facilities we needed, it was not modern, but clean and well-kept.
