About Sebring

Sebring is in Highlands County and is known as 'The City on the Circle', which references to the circle centre of the downtown area. With a population of just over 10,491, this small community is a newly discovered tourist attraction which is sure to satisfy all interests.

'Sebring' got its name from pottery manufacturer George E. Sebring, who initially founded the city in 1912. He came up with. and designed, the circular downtown plan, to bring the community together and create a focal point within the city. His plan was cleverly based on the ancient city of Heliopolis.

The only way to make your way around the city would be to hire a taxi, car, or of course drive your own. U.S Route 27 is the only major road to enter Sebring which leads to the rest of the state.

Having said that, Sebring does have its own railroad transportation by Amtrak, which can transport to Miami, Tampa, Orlando and New York, but this would only be suitable if you're looking to make external trips.

Once in the downtown area, you can reach everything by foot, as most action is just a few blocks away.
