Came here for a girls week away and was not dissapointed! Apartment was stunning two bathrooms, sleeps 6, so much space and everything you could need. Cups plates hairdryer washer etc. So lovely to stay in really felt luxury. Complex was secure and easy to get around pool bar served nice snacks and excellent cocktails (the grasshopper is a must). All in all a beautiful apartment in a beautiful place, really felt we got more out of the holiday staying self catering rather than all inclusive in a hotel. Also a huge difference on the last day not having to rush around to check out etc. Would highly recommend. … see more
**€99 SALE** 3 BED SEA VIEW VILLA, Melià Dunas Beach
Great value for money in a good location

My husband and I stayed here with a couple of friends and had a great time. The villa was within the Melia Dunas resort, and only a 2/3€ taxi ride to the centre with the beaches and lovely local restaurants/bars. Definitely recommend the Mexican!! Andy could not have been more helpful before our trip and during our stay. Well worth getting the day pass at the Melia Dunas resort, the restaurants there are high quality with very friendly staff.....if you're lucky you may get away with using it for longer than a day! Sal doesn't have a huge variety of things to do, but a great location for a relaxing break away with carribean weather. Definitely rent out the quad bikes for the day, much better to explore yourself than in an arranged trip and very easy to find your way around. … see more

Lux 5* Dunas Beach Resort 1 bed Apt, Pool Views
Superb Home From Home

Always a sceptic when booking online but this proved to be one of the best the internet has to offer, both in our sixties my wife & I arrived after a 6hr flight to be greeted with a driver holding our name on a board waiting to take us to the hotel, he spoke good English and had the key to our apartment where we were met by the owner Geraldine who was on the island at the time. The apartment is spotless, tiled floor throughout with quality furniture such as a real leather very comfy 2 & 3 seater sofas, one turns into a bed but we did not use it as such, the dinning table and chairs are solid wood and the comfy bed really made it home from home. A couple of minor problems caused by the contract cleaners removing the instruction books for the cooker & safe were soon resolved and a new shower riser rail replaced the fixed shower head holder. Breakfast on the patio with the little birds waiting for their daily bread was a pleasure as was people watching as they decided which sunbed to have around the pool for the day. Personally I could never understand why they just laid there all day only to rise for food, no more than an hour on those things is enough for me, must be getting old & wanting to see what the island had to offer. With a 3 Euro taxi fare into town, a great beach awaits for activities for those who want them - glass bottom boat, jetski, kite surfing island tours both land and sea with dolphin or whale watching and of course some good bars and eateries right there on the beach. A 5* apartment in a 5* hotel on a 5* island is a must return soon Thank you Geraldine for a very warm welcome. … see more
