“It really is as pretty as it looks” What a fantastic apartment - spacious, comfortable, well equipped with the best balcony area ever - perfect for relaxing. Within a few minutes walk of Sal Rei & the best beach on the island. Hire a pick-up if you can as the roads are an experience not to be missed - the beaches in the east & south are amazing but if you just stay in Sal Rei then you can rest assured that this is definitely the best beach on the island - the grass really isn't greener. The huge sweep of white sand around the bay is wonderful, turtles swim just off the shore & you can swim safely. Supermarkets are basic but go back to old-fashioned values & hunt out the fruit & veg market, fantastic butcher & baker. If you prefer to eat out then you won't be disappointed with the quality of the food in the restaurants.
